Well, the update for this week after setting new goals after my marathon…
Life happened. Knocked me to the ground and brought me to my knees. Like a ton of bricks 🧱.

The flashbacks, the memories, the laughs, the everything. Came to me fast that I needed a moment to realize, that I’m not moving fast enough .

Grief is different for everybody. For me. It’s a constant reminder that life is literally just that . A life to be lived. I can’t thank God enough for the things he does and what he continues to do through me . It is not only my duty but my will to help as many lives as I can.

#MEDALMONDAY 🏁

They really closed all Colfax for your girl yesterday 🥹
City Park all the way west past Wadsworth and all the way down again!
Bucket List :
Run a marathon 26.2 miles in my own city ✅
Time: 5:36:51

I was hyped! 🥹

Thank you to my husband for inspiring me to start running in August just one mile and the rest is history.
Coach @anna.mariefit you are an angel and thank you for doing what you do. Literally would’ve ran out of gas without you. My kids 💚💚💚 for riding their bikes, running with me, walking, respecting my sleep and being so generous with everything around the house they even had to cook their own food sometimes because I was too tired 🥰
Mommy for being supportive and coming in the am to do braids for my long runs and giving me the best meal afterwards. My running community, yall really are something else and so happy to be here 💚
