💚UPDATE: Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has donated, shared our fundraiser, prayed for our family, and shared stories and memories of our beloved Cass. Every act of kindness has reminded us that even in our darkest moments, we are surrounded by an incredible community of love. 🌹

Because of your generosity, we have been able to raise enough funds to bring our sweet Cassie home to Denver 🥹🥹 There are truly no words to express what that means to our family. Thank you for helping us take this important step in honoring her with the love she deserves.

We are now waiting for the final date so we can begin making arrangements for her Celebration of Life. As soon as everything is confirmed, we will share the details with all of you.

Many of you have continued to ask how you can help. We are still gratefully accepting donations, doesn’t need to be through the GoFundMe, as there are additional expenses for Cassie’s Celebration and the many unexpected costs our family continues to face. Every donation, every share, every prayer and every kind message continues to make a difference.

Thank you for standing beside us, for loving Cass and for helping us carry this unimaginable burden. Your compassion has been a light 🕯️

Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we prepare to celebrate Cassie’s beautiful life. We promise to keep everyone updated.

I am Ruby, I am the aunty of Cassandra “Cassie, Cass”
My husbands brother is Cassie’s father.
I loved Cassie with all my heart. She was one of the first people I met when I got with my husband and she was open arms to meet me love me and accept me.
If you have any questions my inbox is open to anything and everything to anybody wanting to be apart of her celebration of life. We are still accepting donations to make her transition a smooth one and meet with our ancestors to forever be free just how she was 💚 🇲🇽

Update :
..She is still in Colorado Springs and in order to get her home to Denver everything needs to be done through a mortuary..

On Thursday night in Colorado Springs our beloved Cassandra “Cass” was struck by a drunk driver while riding a motorcycle with her boyfriend. She passed away on scene and yet she was left lifeless and nobody knew, not even the police that this was happening only her parents knew by getting an alert on their phone that she had been on a crash. They said, “She probably dropped her phone. This happens all the time.”
But caring parents know when there is something wrong. You can just feel it in your gut.

Cass lived an amazing life surrounded
by things she loved. Our family is in shambles. We have created a go fund me or just simply prayers for our family as we will now have to navigate a huge loss and now deal with certain situations.

I enjoyed myself last night. Caught up with some good people and met some new folk and talent along the way. @samjay.worldwide left the stage with great energy and he's been puttin in work for awhile. Glad I had a moment to see him in his element. 💚 🎤
