At 21 weeks, I decided I was going to document swimming butterfly throughout the rest of my pregnancy thinking I wasn’t going to be able to still do it past a certain point. My body proved me wrong. Turns out the hardest part at the end of the day was just showing up and getting in.

Although recovering from a 36 hour labor the last 8 weeks has left me in phase of physical and mental weakness that I’m totally not loving, I’m in awe of how intentional the Lord is and how my body was used to create the sweetest gift that is our son. I’m eager to see what my body is capable of next, whatever that may look like. Thank you, Jesus.

But on the real, if Milo doesn’t end up becoming a butterflyer than I don’t know what all of that was for by @guliaromero

These last 9 months have been the best months of my life- I can’t comprehend that it’s about to get even more sweet. Thank you Jesus for a husband who constantly encourages me, prays over me, fervently serves me, and leads our family so well.
