@guliaromero, thanks for choosing me every day. Over the last 3 years married to you, I’ve seen you care for the people around you, fight for the things that matter, and serve with so much care. Thank you for supporting me in every endeavor, challenging me, and leading me to the cross. To know that you’re mine is something I thank the Lord for daily. Happy Anniversary.

Go Salt

From doubting whether we’d even have vans to get us there, to enduring insanely long car rides with minimal sleep and unexpected downpours that drenched our entire campsite and left students’ tents soaked. This trip had no shortage of obstacles. And yet, through it all, God was faithful.

He provided exactly what we needed, right when we needed it. He opened doors, calmed hearts, and reminded us that He is present in every detail.

Raw altars were built. Not the polished kind, not carefully constructed or picture-perfect, but the kind made in surrender, honesty, and desperation. There were moments where students met God with nothing but their questions, their burdens, and their worship. There were no fancy stages or lights just rain soaked sand, canopies with holes, and worship under open and skies, and hearts laid bare before the Lord. And God was present through it all.

Even in the chaos, He brought peace. Even in the rain, He brought joy. And through every conversation, wave, worship set, and laugh, He was moving.

This week was proof that God’s plans are always better than ours, even when they come with unexpected detours. He showed up not just in the big moments, but in the raw, hidden, and unplanned ones too.

All glory to Him

A year ago we had a crazy idea. Take 40 desert dwellers on a weeklong trip to the ocean. We came hungry for his presence and left full of his fire. I Love this ministry @cy.abq and love these students. Thank you Jesus❤️‍🔥

Medium format vs. iPhone. What’s your favorite, can you tell the difference? I want to know your thoughts! I’m working on a project that will further this idea this month.

1. Mamiya 645 1000s | Portra 400
2. iPhone 15 Pro in RAW
