Synchronicity is a concept, first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung, which holds that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no casual relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.

This is a notion of which I hold in high regard. When asked by @iamajk "If you could have any footy shirt right now, what would you choose?" My immediate response, based on my love and affiliation towards Buenos Aires; Boca Juniors. The atmosphere of La Bombonera, second only to Anfield, makes you feel alive.
In a twist of fate, Adam Kilcourse, a Prince amongst Men, was in possession of 1 shirt.. A 2XL Boca Juniors number.

To say I nearly fell over was an understatement. The stars aligned, and he delivered. Forever, my hearts' route to the barrios of La Boca are channelled through him. I am indebted eternally.
For their choice of colours, Boca Juniors decided to adopt the colours of the flag of the first ship to sail into port. That ship was the Donning Sophia completing her long voyage from Sweden. Blue and yellow it was, and blue and yellow it remained.

Vamos La Boca!
