Hiii “Tears In The Club” is back on @rinsefrance tonight with a very special takeover from @gullydoctor! An incred musician, DJ and producer, he’s treating us to an hour of soca, kuduro and more sounds from across the Caribbean islands 🌞

In his own words…

“This mix is a tour through some of my favourite soca, dennery segment and bouyon of late, with some old faves and a bit of kuduro for good measure.

To me, these styles represent the cutting edge in any kind of dance music at the minute, and I largely went for tracks that emphasise that fact in my mind. I recorded this in one take and it has a bit of chaos in there as a consequence, but I feel that serves the energy well”

I’m very excited for you lot to hear what’s he has in store! Lock in live from 10pm GMT / 11pm CET tonight at rinse.fr xoxo by @gullydoctor

Late posting this as life has insisted upon happening at me of late (rude!) butttt I made an appearance with @bisbassfm on their @netilradio show a couple of weeks back and you can hear it back now! Slightly chaotic as my main usb died right beforehand 🤠 but still a fun time I feel.

I'm also appearing with bisbass at their party in @mokotottenham on the 13th of this month with a v stacked lineup indeed 🌶️ tix gonna go quick i believe so north london crew do not sleep pls 🫡

thank you @xalimo__ & @kabir1507 for the invites and for the v fun day a couple of weeks back 💛 so nice to get to play on one of my favourite shows! listen back and grab tix in my bio 🌋 by @gullydoctor

throwback sesh algo damo here to remind you that my new ep "Essence" is out now on bandcamp! 5 tracks old and new taking in Jersey Club/Hardcore/Jungle/UKG/Footwork, it's a nice snapshot of much of the club stuff I do be making, and a big step up from my last couple of releases I feel. A massive thank you of course to @dj__egg for lending me their considerable talents on the artwork (swipe for clips set to the amazing animation they did truly I wasn't worthy 😭) and also to @ambientbabestationmeltdown who lent me inspiration for tracks 3 & 4 (that's her record track 3 is sampled from) and @benbix.wav who gave me a lot of in depth feedback on mixdowns and the master on each track toward the end. Also thank you to anyone who's been playing and supporting and @plantbassdworld for the premiere last week! love ye all ❤️❤️❤️ link in my bio 🎉 by @gullydoctor

Greetings from grey expensive London! It's been a while (I was fixing my brain/life) but now that I'm an educated sane London dweller I have a new EP out next Thursday, and @plantbassdworld were kind enough to premiere a track off it yesterday.

"Prince Heavy Shocker" is a big summery slice of jungle tekno, taking in a jazz-funk sample (suggested by @ambientbabestationmeltdown) hoovers and a big dumb guitar solo by myself towards the end 🤠 (I ate with that though fr slide 6 for proof) it's one of my fave things I've ever done, as is the EP as a whole, I think it's a big step up from anything I've previously done and I can't wait for ye to hear it 💛💙💛

Thanks to plantbass'd and @michaelsaverage for having me! Swipe for artwork by our favourite @dj__egg 🥚 and clips of the tune, link to the tune and to preorder the ep in my bio 💙💛💙 by @gullydoctor
