Light the bonfire. Set the signal. Make it and they will come. Make the art you want to make. Disrupt. Argue. Care too much. Be annoying. Bang on doors. Brunch. @adamlenson we will keep doing all of this for you and with you. by @gussysax

What a thrill to be working on a truly original new British musical with the best collaborators a girl could ask for. Let's do this @samueladamsonwriter & @gareth_gates @selladoortheatre by @gussysax

When you have a writing deadline so your husband says he'll take your daughter to work... Seems she was more interested in her crisps than the sexiest man alive but definitely wanted to ask about ramping from scene into song.
Full interview (minus our crisp munching girl) will be on Saturday Morning @bbcradio3 with @t.o.m.s.e.r.v.i.c.e
p.s Thank you @jbayleaf for being so gracious and good at childcare. Are you you free Sat?
And thank you @thismaggies for making it all happen!

My favourite writer @t.o.m.s.e.r.v.i.c.e has written a book. It was written in the throes of changing nappies and grief; the realities of life. Each chapter will make your life feel richer and deeper. Plus, it has a shiny gold cover. What more do you want? Cupcakes? An audiobook? Well, we have those too.

Ten years today since Dad joined the great G&T/Martini party in the sky. Still one of the coolest obituaries I've ever read. To my friends and family in the midst of early grief....it does evolve and time really is the only healer, which doesn't help at the start. The sharp sing of grief changes. I smile now when I think of Dad, I can see him in my daughter and I love telling my husband all about him. I know he's with us. Cheers Dad xx by @gussysax

And just like that she's 1 and we're wearing matching socks and buying her first pair of shoes and next she'll be at university.
Points to those who can figure out my mother's coded cake!

It's pretty special when your child's first proper theatre outing is for a show you wrote. She was captivated for the full hour (thanks to the incredible cast led by @riaparry4 and @cope.nick amazing songs). I was reminded all over again about the magic of live theatre and music and stuff and found it all quite emosh. 🌈🎵 taken in Soho Theatre by @gussysax
