Only 3 more sleeps until Touratech PT Norte Open Day!

Come and enjoy a bum in seat, ridden sidecar experience to see for yourself what serious fun these machines offer. Riding with companions or co-pilots, or the equipment you’ll use next, adventuring together takes on a whole new meaning.

Hope to see you there. Come out for a ride!

What better way to start the year than with an epic off-road sidecar adventure. O Nosso Dakar, by @longitude009 certainly gave us that.

Here’s a taster - you can see the whole video at www.gustomotorbikes.com

Thank you to rally rider, co-pilot and film -maker extraordinaire @we.are.xrepo for a fantastic piece of work. You’ve captured it brilliantly!
Thank you to @antonmalyshev for agreeing to getting involved.

Onwards!

I knew she was in the studio somewhere, but she was well camouflaged. Not sure where she got the ink from but she's been hard at work.

RARE Lisboa 2026
A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure and privilege of joining @rare.rideandroses and the @ligaportuguesacontracancro_sul as partners in their annual ride to raise awareness around women's breast cancer.

We and our co-pilot Roses were treated to a VIP police escort through all the iconic locations through the centre of Lisbon and then some lovely country roads before finishing at a wonderful destination for the rest of the afternoon. @nirvana_studios_oficial
What a fantastic day and an experience to remember.

Congratulations to all of those who organised, worked, volunteered and rode for such a worthy cause. See you next year.

We found 'Wilderness' in a small town out in the wilderness - a wonderful and very topical art installation by @ricardoromero.pt . It's absolutely stunning and really engaging because you can walk amongst them. Then when you read the story, even more so.

We need to think about what we're doing to this planet, and finding works like this really helps.

An example of specialist training by day and by night, combining military experience and technical off-road sidecar technique.
This was a couple of years ago now but it maintains its relevance today.

Dia do fuzileiro '26 - "overcoming obstacles".
Trying new experiences and pushing your boundaries is what this day is all about 💪🏼 . Great fun for everyone (we think 😉).

Dia do Fuzileiro '26 - what a great family day out. A chance to put aside the small screen, to look around and experience adventures like never before.
It was honour to be invited to participate again this year, now a well established tradition after 3 years in a row.
See you in 2027...!!

We are often asked about reverse gear on our sidecar outfits. There isn’t one.
We always teach people to watch the track as you ride, identify possible turning points along the way whilst assessing the terrain and how far you should continue on the go.
As with a solo motorbike you find a slight incline to ride up, and then slowly and safely roll back down to a point where you can turn. The odd push with a foot can help, but mostly gravity is our friend.
It’s a really good idea to practice before heading out into the wilds, with fallen trees and other unpredictable obstacles.. Give it a go.

Out and about in the local foothills - a true beast in the wild.

You can turn in a surprisingly small space when you position yourself, and your sidecar wheel, in the right place… and drive smoothly round it. When you’re riding a sidecar up small tracks and trails you’re always looking for possible turning points. You’re also considering what each part of the track would be like to ride in the opposite direction. You never know what’s ahead, but you can feel confident to explore that bit further.
Happy riding. by @gustomotorbikes
