Hardcore Fanzine & Distro

Look, when I do the distro I try to put up for everyone, for the enthusiastic yougins making their first zines and figuring things out as they go, to the experienced zinesters with the 4 issues of their 7th fanzines in tow, and everything in between. This one update here though is a triple display of OGs putting things in print, and yet if you combine all three zines it’s a solid representation of HC past and present... exactly what zines are for. For us, by us, like one of the most iconic 90s streetwear brands used to verbalize it. So do the right thing and get yourself some of that history on your shelves. Until next time! by @guttergroove

Last rays of summer shining out my window and I’m here with a loaded update: Blast Of Power #7, Iconoclast #6, Live N Learn #1, Neutral Words #3, Top 100s, Violent Treatment #4!
What’s crazy is I’m expecting about as many zines for September. It’s a Rorschach test: someone tells you it’s an obsolete medium, they’re the outdated ones. They keep coming and I keep sending’em, call me Babe Ruth.

Practical bizness: get in touch if you get a high shipping quotes or wanna combine shipping on many zines and records.

I’m going to Moral Panic Fest next week with the distro, gonna bring mostly stuff from the last 12 month. Anything you need put on the side let me know. I’ll close the bigcartel from Wednesday night for about a week forward. by @guttergroove

Summertime update hell yeah, last issue aka The Final Ride (Master P voice) for Possessed, and #2 of Bust featuring all the ingredients I like in a zine! Plus some Demonstrate 7inches, if that break in United Front doesn’t make you wanna hit the dancefloor then I’m not sure what will? That’s it for now folks, next update early August and it’s gonna be a loaded one! by @guttergroove

Long time no updates I know I know, work and family kept me busy the last 2 months… but you know me… I’ve never not ordering new stuff, especially if it’s good looking fanzines and killer EPs… so here we go: Ball Of Destruction, From The Basement, Love Letters, The Race Race, Spine Chillz… Belgium, Germany, the US, the Philippines… it’s worldwide thing! 🗺️ And that Collateral/Burning Split EP you say?? Canonical split 7’’ entry from two of the best bands going at the moment… nuff said. Descriptions the big cartel, see you at the next gig or for the next update ✌🏼 by @guttergroove

You see another spread and you’d be pressed to think it’s business as usual, but truth is you’d be a fool to take any of this for granted. It’s a lot of work that goes on in those zines, a good interview isn’t that easy and don’t even get me started on a good layout. Shout out to everyone out there taking there time to carry on the tradition.

But what do we got in these pages? We got Modern Guilt and Wrong Man and Suspect and Crucial John and Mystique and Placid and The Flex and Problems and Force Of Denial and Drink Deep and many more…. That’s without counting all the articles and reviews and all the rest… in a nutshell, hardcore for days for you to read about while you can wear the grooves thin on your copy of the Lose Sight EP. And a free Shockwave mini zine with every order. Sometimes it doesn’t get much better than that. Peace! by @guttergroove

Showing up with Heavy Ammunition like we’re The Artifacts in 94, it’s that February ‘core.
Keeping it as short as your fave hc song: 4 zines, 1 EP, strictly quality - descriptions in the shop, see you for the next drop! by @guttergroove

2026 and we’re off to a strong start, casually starting the year with a 5 zines drop, all the while I’ve got at least 3 more on the way to me.

That’s the good news, the more sucky one is that PostNord not only raised their prices once again, but they also stopped carrying small letters. I’m trying to figure out cheaper shipping options, but in the meantime I’ve had to adjust shipping and I know those prices sting 😬. Just get in touch if you wanna order a bunch of zines and EPs and maximize shipping cost, there’s still a lot that can be put into a 1 or 2kg package!

Anyway, back on track like we’re Ten yard Fight, every zines has their own description on the big cartel, check it all out and get yourself that much needed dose of hardcore reality ✌🏼 by @guttergroove

Man, post-festival flu ain’t no joke, 2 weeks in and I’m still coughing like an old horse on the way to the slaughterhouse, shheeiitt. Anyhow, last zine update for 2025 and I’m already gearing up for the first one of 2026, so it’s still looking like back to bizness on my side. We got Persistent Vision from Fort Wayne, IN because there’s no better way to wrap this year up than with yet another quality Midwest zine, and a Slapshot photo zine from the fine folks at Sailin’ On Records in The Netherlands. Oh, and of course the latest issue of Society Suckers, coming in free with every order! Do these come wrapped in with the spirit of Christmas I can’t say for sure, but they’ve got that feeling that Fury was singing about and I’d say that’s the most important. See you next year ✌🏼 by @guttergroove

Another day another drop, what gives? November still and it’s cold outside in that part of the globe, but fanzines keep dropping like there’s no season. You know the sales pitch, not gonna draw you a picture, come and get you some so you can hibernate the winter away reading these and listening to Cold Front and the Glacies Incarnate 10’’ by Cold Snap CCHC 🥶 🥶 🥶 by @guttergroove

November drop, and what do we got here? We got peak-era Blag Flag and all-era Bad Brains (a restock for those who missed, last copies), we got Naysayer, the return of! We got Hoax and C.A.M.O, we got vegan recipes and demo reviews, we got sick live pics and stories, we got a little of this and a little of that… not least, we got hardcore galore. Next update should be sometime next week, what? Let’s see how many of them we can get before the year end. by @guttergroove

Keeping it strictly hardcore because if we were to expand to other domains the list would explode, but honestly the Midwest has graced us with so many good things. Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, Louisville… Touch And Go Records, Organized Crime Records, Non Commercial Records, Thornz Records… for better and worse Victory too haha … all the thousands of bands, goes without saying… and now the current wave of fanzines from the area. OH, IN, IL, MN… they’re popping up from all over and just killing it! Yo, someone in Saginaw MI or Fargo ND does a zine and tell us what’s good! OK I’m done, these are up for sell and you’d be a fool to miss! And as usual, the next batch of zines are on the way to me as I’m writing this so you know we keep that ball rolling 🏀 by @guttergroove

Yes yes yes, more is more. More zines: more hardcore - it’s mathematics. Germany, Sweden, the UK, the US, hell, the world over when it comes to the SLP Comp, they keep flying in and I keep sending them out. Easy-does-it, check out the descriptions on the bigcartel, see what you fancy, and get yourself suited for the next couple month’s reading materials. Next update has at least three (3) heavy hitters coming in, so see you then! by @guttergroove
