Kinda busy celebrating making history as a Grand Valley Pom girl 🥈🤩 📞

We hope you LOVED this routine as much as we did. Nothing compares to stepping on the Eastern floor and leaving it all out there with pure adrenaline from start to finish 🔥

This week, let's meet Delaney!! 🩵

⭐️ Delaney joined us from @hartlandvarsitypompon and we are so glad to have her join the Laker family! This is her 6th year of Pom and her favorite memory was on senior night at the football game before she performed at halftime. “We played Slipping Through My Fingers from Mamma Mia, went around and talked about how much we loved each other and how we are all so proud. I just remember feeling so grateful and loved while being surrounded by all my favorite girls!"

⚓️ Delaney chose GV because “They had an amazing CSD program and a beautiful campus. But once I saw GVP perform Moulin Rouge High Kick 2025, I knew that was where I wanted to be and who I looked up to”

Just one short month away from being in the stands, marking the routine with headphones in, getting that final eyelash glued, running it one last time in the practice gym, and sharing the floor with the people you love ♥️

This week, let's meet Cora!! 🩵

⭐️ Cora joined us from Novi Varsity, and we are thrilled to have her as a Laker! This is her 13th year of Pom! She did 6 years of Pom at Mid American Studio, 2 years with Novi Middle School, 4 years with Novi Varsity, and this summer was her first year on MAPP Staff! Her favorite memory was performing on the floor at states her senior year! “I still remember the way my heart was beating out of control in my chest and how I couldn’t hear anything over the boom of the music. I’ve never been more vividly aware during a routine than in that moment, and I wish so badly that the performance would never end!”

⚓️ Cora chose GV because “I’ve always admired Grand Valley’s Pom team, and I looked up to quite a lot when I was in high school. So naturally, when my search began for colleges, I began to be curious about what Grand Valley had to offer. After looking into their exercise science and pre-medical degrees, while learning about their cadaver lab program, I began to fall in love with this school! I’ve also just always loved the color blue!”

This week, let's meet Eloise!! 🩵

⭐️ Eloise joined us from Salem Varsity, and we are so glad to have her as a Laker! This is her 7th year pomming, and her favorite memory was meeting her best friend and now roommate! “I met Isa on the All Star trip to Disney my junior year! We met on the flight back from Orlando, and since then we have been inseparable”.

⚓️ Eloise chose Grand Valley because “My best friend was actually the one who convinced me to even apply for GV, and I am so thankful I did! I chose Grand Valley primarily for the pom team. I always knew since I started pom that I wanted to do collegiate pom, and Grand Valley’s team was one I had always enjoyed watching at competitions because of their really cool and creative choreography and themes. Grand Valley also has a good program for my major, which ultimately was what made me end up choosing GV.
