The story behind this church in La Crescenta was that in the 1920's before the church was built they held services on the empty lot. All who attended were encouraged to bring rocks from the surrounding area. When they finally had enough donated rocks they then proceeded to build the Church. It's been there just short of 100 years.

A little more plein air sketching.
Having spent my career at a stationary drawing board I do find sketching outdoors to be a fun challenge especially when perspective is involved.
