This year’s World Mental Health Day theme is a reminder that lived experience is a form of expertise. While people are invited to tell their stories; their voices should help shape the programs, services, policies, and decisions designed to support them.

Today’s call to action is personal: CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF TOO!

Mental Health America offers free, confidential online mental health screening tools for depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and other concerns. Screening is NOT a diagnosis, but it can help you identify symptoms and consider appropriate next steps.

A charge to keep we have to pause, to take a look over thyself, a charge to keep to care for my brothers and sisters mental health, a charge to keep we have to hold one another up after we have lifted ourselves up. A charge to keep we have to glorify the truth and fulfill the masters will. His will is divine and made for this time!

Have you got your green on yet today? All-ways happy getting my green on in nature with movement and music, especially today May 21 (my birthday) to support the @gygopbc mental health and trauma-informed care awareness campaign throughout Palm Beach County, annually on the third Thursday in May.

The card with song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams came to me today as a gift, inspiring my joyful dance with trees, breeze and sunlight.
