day 2/4 of our journey to get from kefalonia to cancun!!! okay so today wasn’t really that bad tbh because it waaassa just one flight BUT it did still involve multiple buses, trains and a delayed flight so i’m still going to milk it for content 💋

today is definitely our chillest day for travel but tomorrow and the day after are going to be so bad it’s not even funny so give this girl a break 😭❤️‍🩹

day 118/365 of travelling the world 🗺️

HOLY travel journey .. you guys aren’t ready for this one 😭

so 2.5 weeks ago we spontaneously booked a flight to cancun to keep chasing the sun because euro summer is officially ending 🥲

it would have cost us $4000 to get from kefalonia (greece) to cancun (mexico) and as we are on a ✨budget✨ we didn’t have that kind of money so strap yourselves in because this is a HUGE 4 day travel journey 😭😭

this day was a lotttt of sitting but that doesn’t mean we weren’t still going to do an hours walk to get our favourite cake in the whole world <3

today’s total spend: $162.94 (lots of transport & ate all meals out!)

📍 kefalonia, greece (our last day 🥺)

as you guys know, we have LOVED a boat day this trip and so for our final day in greece we decided to rent a boat and it was the bloody BEST!

we booked with @argostoli_boat_hire and they were fantastic - they explained everything so well, answered all our questions and made for an all round awesome day! this was very kindly gifted to us but we would absolutely pay the money to book with them again!

kefalonia has so many beaches that you can only get to via boat so we obviously hit up as many of them as we could! the weather definitely turned a bit as you can see at the end of the video LOL but it was such a beautiful time out on the water regardless!

feeling very blessed and lucky to have ended our time out in greece in such a beautiful way 🇬🇷👏🏼🌟

day 116/365 of travelling the world ⭐️🌷

📍 kefalonia, greece

a bit of a spontaneous day today! got in the car and drove to melissani cave, which is a gorgeous underground lake and when the sun is directly above the hole, the entirety of the lake just GLIMMERS - so gorgeous!!!

also went to gym this AM - we have been going to Gymland in kefalonia, it’s a great outdoor 3 level space that is €10/day 🤍

had a GORGEOUS lunch at mediterrano to celebrate greece coming to an end! we have loved it here soooo much and are so sad to leave but we head to cancun next so we are keen for that 🤧🤧

if anyone has any recs for central america, pls dm me!

WOOOO beach hopping day!!!! we went to SO many beautiful beaches today! after yesterdays rainy weather we decided today was just a day for mooching from beach to beach

the beaches in this vid are agios thomas, pessada beach (my fave!) and then amandakis beach 🤍

day 114/365 of travelling the world 🇬🇷

i was in a bit of a low mood to start today off so my bf made us do a hype dance to get in the mood for gym and it really did work a treat x

the weather turned a bit so we had a very relaxed arvo - we went for a walk and got a sweet treat, called my fam and then spent the early evening watching tv and doing a big day load of nothing!!

so many people have asked how you do full time travel and tbh we do have a solid few days a month that look like this where we really don’t do too much!!! as my mumma says, it’s a marathon not a sprint hehe

here’s to waking up tomorrow with a bit more energy 🫦🫦

day 113/365 of travelling the world 🌷🇬🇷

📍 kefalonia, greece

we had the brilliant idea as the weather was a bit chilly today to head off for a hike!! our PLAN was to hike mt ainos which is the tallest peak in the ionian islands! 11km hike! fun!

except i brought us to the wrong carpark and we ended up accidentally driving half the hike 😇😇my bad!!

an 11km hike turned into a 3km stroll which we were honestly pretty sad about because we love to hike - buttt when we got to the top of the mountain, the weather was sooo cloudy and visibility was literally 0 (as you can see from the video)!

on the way back simon somehow found yet another shitty amusement park that looked like it hadn’t been updated since the early 2000s so off we went to that!

this was fun but turns out it was actually half zoo and neither of us really love zoos for ethical reasons so it felt a bit icky

so overall today was a bit of a flop but it was very funny nevertheless <3
