Incredibly honoured to be have been chosen by @bristol_beacon for their residency programme this year.

It’s already been a great experience meeting the other artists on the residency and staff behind the scenes - we can’t wait to get started.

Thanks to @12kmedia behind the lens for making us look like a real band.

Happy to announce that we’ll be headlining @oldenglandpub on Thursday 25th July, alongside @new_cut_band & @socksandballerinas, as part of a week of music reviving what was once arguably our favourite venue in Bristol

Thank you to @sunglassesafterdarkbristol & @klyphexpresents for organising - all ticket sales go to three great charities: @warchilduk, @bristolmind & @bristol.redistro

Tickets available on Headfirst

Today is the day, our debut EP ‘Back To Shilmarine’ is out now everywhere.

Watch the full music video for ‘To Be A Machine’, directed by Christopher Burton and edited by Sam Chilton, now via our bio. Strobe warning.

Boundless gratitude to the friends and strangers who believed in our vision and helped us get to this point as a band.

To have anyone actually care about what started as some jams between mates is extremely gratifying and is a humbling reminder of how kind people can be and how grateful we are to receive that. To have our own music on a physical record is extremely surreal; it’s something that we’ve genuinely dreamt of and now it’s actually a reality.

We owe a great debt to the many people we collaborated with on this project - namely Alfie Tyson-Brown for his sonic wizardry, Chris Burton for his artistic genius & George Buckthought for believing in the vision this entire time and driving us forward.

Tracklist:
1. Vinculum
2. A²
3. Platform 1, 18:19
4. To Be A Machine (ft. Esther Pollock of @footfootband)
5. Blank Sleep

Recorded between November 2022 - March 2023 at The Louisiana, Bristol, UK.

Engineered, produced & mixed: @alfietb
Mastered: @shawn_optimum

Introducing our new Resident Artists for 2026/27! ✨

Stay tuned as we spotlight the acts making up this year’s cohort - who each join us for a year-long residency specially designed to unlock creative breakthroughs, build long-term vision and increase industry connections.

Next up, Bristol-based quartet @haalband - whose immersive combo of relentless industrial noise, ethereal post-rock and hypnotic trip hop has earned them an indisputable place as one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the UK live scene - from sharing the stage with @arabstrapband, to performing at @arctangentfestival, and even earning praise from @thurstonmoore58 of @sonicyouth_official. ⚙️

Thank you to all who helped make Monday’s WIP show happen. To sell out a venue on a school night is nothing short of incredible and we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Thanks to @annaryanmusic_ for joining us on stage, to @_aaevii for running the visuals, Lorenzo Cecchi on sound, to @stoopband for supporting, and to @gravytrainbristol, @justanothermusicco & @climaxclimaxedclimax and Ollie for making it all tick.

Next up, we play @crowdedfestival tomorrow alongside a whole host of cool bands for our first time in Leicester - I believe it’s about to sell out.

Onstage 17:15 at Duffy’s.

In the late evening we will be celebrating our manager Lilian and @climaxclimaxedclimax’s 5th birthday at @locoklub, hope to see you there.

Thank you @arctangentfestival, the most humbling and beautiful time.

Huge thanks to Lorenzo Cecchi on sound, Nathan on stage-hand, anyone that chatted to us or bought some merch and most especially to Lauren for showing us her HAAL nail art in the crowd for @arcaneroots, so surreal and touching.

Next, we play our Work In Progress show at @thelanesbristol on 28th September.

All 150 free tickets have sold out, there are a few paid tickets online, don’t wait up.
