The Canadiens just dropped this reaction of Cole Caufield seeing their new Hometown Remix jerseys, and he doesn’t seem to like them very much 😭

Could a blockbuster move to Montreal actually happen? 👀🇷🇺

According to Elliotte Friedman, Nikita Kucherov is reportedly open to a trade and has the Canadiens on his radar:

“I do believe if Tampa was going to trade him, and Montreal & Toronto could come up with a package Tampa would like, those are two teams among many he would consider.”

Even at 33 years old, the elite winger continues to put up massive numbers with 4 goals and 18 points through his first 13 games. Plus, with his former Lightning teammate Martin St. Louis behind the bench in Montreal (the two shared the ice for 39 games back in the day), the connection is definitely there!

Does bringing in a superstar like Kucherov fit the Habs' current window, or is the acquisition cost just too high to pull the trigger?

The Canadiens have won 5 straight, are 8-1-1 in their last 10 and sit 5th overall in the NHL… all while ranking DEAD LAST on the power play at 9.5%. 😬

Now imagine if they get that power play clicking once Demidov returns.

The sky’s the limit for this team! by @habstown

Sidney Crosby yesterday on his former Team Canada 🇨🇦 Olympic teammate Carey Price, who’ll be inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame next week:

“He was so good for such a long time. When you get an opportunity to play with guys like that, it’s pretty amazing…He’s a guy who’s left his mark here (in MTL) and across the NHL the way he played for so long. It’s definitely well deserved and he was just an incredible goalie.”

EASY DUBS LES CANADIENS
5-4 Final against the Penguins. The Habs stay dominant returning back to the Bell Center on Halloween with a high scoring performance for their 5th straight win.

The Habs would give up an early PP goal to start the game as Karlsson would wire one from the point to beat Fowler and give the Pens and early lead. The Habs would tie it up very quickly as a nice pass from Beck would find Kapanen for a nice shot to beat Murashov, and right after that, Anderson would capitalize on a Pens turnover and score one himself to turn the scoreboard to 2-1 Montreal. Pittsburgh would tie it up, still in the 1st period, as a nice build up play from the Pens would allow Novak to jam one in past Fowler. In the 2nd period, an amazing play from Hutson and Texier would equate for a nice finish from Texier to give the Habs a lead once again 3-2. Another quick one off a Kreider rebound chance would put the Habs up 2 goals. The Penguins would get a quick goal after Montreal's pair, as a nice shot from Rakell would beat Fowler. The Habs would add their 5th goal from a Hutson shot that would take a tricky bounce off of Anderson to beat Murashov. The Pens would add a late one in the 3rd period off a difficult puck in front that Crosby would net, but not enough for Pittsburgh to complete a comeback.

What an insane game from our depth scoring. Many guys stepped up in this one, including Kreider, Anderson, Texier, and Kapanen with goals. It might be crazy to say that Josh Anderson may net 20 goals this season, but he has looked amazing to start the season and played amazing tonight with 2 goals. It also feels like Kreider played one of his better games in a Habs uniform also, seeming more involved in big chances and getting 2 points against the Pens. Fowler looked human for once, but still did the job, stopping 25 shots to still get the win.

Overall, big win tonight, the Habs are at 5 straight wins now, and let's make it 6 on Tuesday against the Jets!!! LFGGGGGGGGG
