This past week has been incredibly hard as I’ve tried to wrap my head around the fact that my grandma is really gone. As I’ve reflected on so many memories, I’ve realized how incredibly lucky I am to have had someone who made saying goodbye so hard. I've really been soo lucky to have the best grandma's that i seriously consider my second parents.

My grandma was one of my biggest supporters. Whether it was a horse show, softball game, dance recital, or soccer game, she was always there cheering me on. She loved everyone around her so much, always put others before herself, and had such a strong testimony of the gospel. We even had a temple trip planned together that we never got to take, but I find peace knowing that because of our Heavenly Father’s plan, I will see my grandma again someday!

Even though she may be gone from my sight, she will never be gone from my heart. Instead of letting my grief only remind me of what I’ve lost, I’ll let it remind me of how deeply I was loved. I will always carry her with me, and I will always be grateful that I was lucky enough to have someone so special to miss.

I love you forever and ever grandma I'm gonna miss your good morning texts everyday and getting to visit you almost daily. My heart hurts so bad I can't wait to see you again❤️‍🩹❤️ #ihatecancer by @hadleyellingtonn
