i still can’t believe this is real. i keep expecting to see her again, and I don’t know how to imagine life without her. there are no words that could ever truly express how much my grandma lorri meant to me. she wasn’t just my grandma, she was such a big part of my childhood and so many of my happiest memories. i grew up spending time with her and my cousins, laughing, making memories, and always feeling loved. i honestly can’t remember a time she wasn’t there for me. she came to every performance of mine she could, always cheering me on and supporting me no matter what I was doing, knowing she was always there for me, anywhere i was, always meant so much to me, and I’ll forever be grateful for the love and encouragement she gave me. she had the kind of heart that made everyone around her feel welcome, and i will continue to cherish parts of her in parts of me. watching her suffer was one of the hardest things i’ve ever had to experience, it was a different kind of pain i’ve never dealt with before. as badly as i wanted her to stay, and how hard it was to say goodbye, i find comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace and no longer in pain. i would rather remember her smile, her love, and the joy she brought to our family than the suffering she experienced at the end. grandma, thank you for every hug, every laugh, every memory, and every moment you gave us. i will carry your love with me for the rest of my life. i hope you know how deeply you were loved, and how deeply you will be remembered. ❤️
