This weekend I took 12th overall, 9th American at the UTMB Kodiak 100k, one of the biggest stages in this sport I’ve come to love. Candidly, I’m disappointed in the placing, I wanted a top 10 place to secure my spot at CCC in Chamonix next summer, but I’m immensely proud of the race I ran. I left everything I had on those trails.

2026 has shown me challenges and tested my resolve in ways I never imagined. This weekend reminded me that if you keep showing up every day and focusing on what is within your power to control, the rest will fall into place.

A huge thank you to my parents, who think I’m crazy, but were the best crew I could have asked for. And a huge shoutout to Wednesday Night Run Club, thanks for being out there and supporting all the athletes pushing their limits.

Some of the moments that stay with us start with simply being outside.

A muddy trail. A new discovery. A family exploring together.

At Rainforest Ramble, 45 keiki hit the trails, covering 70 cumulative trail miles along the way. More than the miles, it was about the smiles, discoveries, and memories made outside.

Time for the second 100-mile race this year

I’m looking forward to the race, but I’m also a little nervous. The race will be over 2,100 meters the entire time. It’s great to be able to share the race with a good friend (@steffen_bob_ ). Twelve hours through the night, heat by day and cold by night – let’s see how it goes.
