———————————————————————— Title: Spirit Of Mika Material: Canvas. Medium: Acrylic Paint/Spray Paint. Dimensions: 800mm x 600mm. I have been working on this personal piece since first lockdown 2020. Yes I have already painted a tiger, so this time I tried another technique to see if it was quicker turns out it’s very time consuming. One thing I noticed while creating this piece is the textures are well worth the time spent on it. You can see on one close up picture if you swipe left. Mika was our well loved rescue dog which passed 17th August 2020. ____________________________________________________ @petrichoraintree owners @massannoyance and Jack Davies just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to work on this mural it was a pleasure to work with decent human beings making me feel at home from the start. I appreciated the @crosbycoffeeltd Lattes which you made me and kept me focused through the day. @massannoyance I have known since 2012 working at Blacks, now who would have known I would be creating a mural for your own business 8 years later. I had always thought you was a good guy. Good luck with it all, wishing you all the very best. No doubt you will be just fine. You have a amazing local community coffee shop and bar . Concept for this mural was the spiral vines and leaves to focus your eyes into the @petrichoraintree Logo which is eye level. The idea I had is space and minimal colours throughout the design to give it a contemporary feel and style. ———————————————————————— #mural #art #painting #design #wallart #style #contemporarypainting #commission #petrichor #independentbusiness #aintree #liverpool #coffee #beers #dogfriendly ———————————————————————— Swipe left for the images of progress from start to finish. 👈🏽 taken in Petrichor by @haithamsalemcreative

Hello i am Haitham Salem drawing in front of a television at the age of three, is my first memory of being creative. My inspiration comes from nature, animals, geometric shapes, my environment around me and much more. I am a Artist but see myself as dynamic and will put my hand to anything creative. Using different mediums for the artwork I create, for example, spray paint, acrylic paint, markers and pencils makes it more interesting for me. I try to think outside the box for new ways to make artwork exciting.
