i couldn’t be happier to let you all know that my latest EP ‘Neruda’ is out now on @musique__concrete.

around 18 months ago, myself, @iamdjmoritz and @haithamsalemcreative decided to turn our Facebook community into a fully-fledged label; and ever since then I have been buzzing to release a full EP on our platform.

Neruda comprises 4 tracks, from slo-mo electronica to deep house, to melodic drum and bass; and is certainly the best insight into where I’ve been artistically in the last year and a half.

a lot of emotion went into this release, so I hope you can feel it and you connect with it in some way!

big shout out to everyone who’s supported so far, and also to

@haithamsalemcreative for the amazing EP artwork ❤️

and

@robsmallmasteringltd for doing a stellar job on the mastering as always 💫

all links to buy/stream will be in my bio. Any support means the world!

much love

dan 🥰

For episode six of Radio Concrète - our mix series we're absolutely delighted to introduce UK-Based Lithuanian Artist @todd_awl to the fold.

Having appeared on our 'Peace is Power' charity compilation earlier in the year, we've been continually impressed by Awl's output and selection, so it only felt right to welcome him on board to the crew!

In this 2-hour showcase, expect to hear dark breaks, heavy basslines, and some forthcoming material from the man himself!

Our first release is on the horizon - who could it be 🧐

Enjoy!

Title: Spirit Of Mika
Material: Canvas.
Medium: Acrylic Paint/Spray Paint.
Dimensions: 800mm x 600mm.

I have been working on this personal piece since first lockdown 2020. Yes I have already painted a tiger, so this time I tried another technique to see if it was quicker turns out it’s very time consuming. One thing I noticed while creating this piece is the textures are well worth the time spent on it. You can see on one close up picture if you swipe left.

Mika was our well loved rescue dog which passed 17th August 2020. Rest in Power Mika

As much as We love to have all of your wonderful, eager faces in with us, unfortunately, we aren't taking bookings. Mainly to give everyone a chance to get a table over the festive season.

We do suggest coming a little earlier to secure a table though. Substantial Scouse will be served from 12pm to last orders at 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Take out bottles and 2 pinters are still available, too!

Excited to see you all! 😁👍🍻

So @j.gourleyart tagged us in this 10 day artwork challenge and seeing as these are social media content starved times we're going along with it!
We're going to be doing things a little bit differently as we're an art studio, so we'll be highlighting some of our past shows that aren't on Instagram, starting with our very first exhibiton as a collective: Beyond The New World! This was part of @lightnightlpool 2015, making me realise that this year's Light Night was our 5th year anniversary 🥳
Beyond The New World explored the question, if you've been arguing for 3 hours about what to do for your first exhibition and someone makes a sarcastic, offhand comment about doing something with toy cars, should you do it?

We'll be tagging @theliverpoolcastingstudio to do their own 10 day artwork challenge cause her work was my personal favourite from the show but it's totally cool if they don't .

Throwback of my first exhibition, collection of work on two walls, a lot of the pieces I don't own now. Don't know who's hat that is on my head though. 😂
