Despite being delayed by injury and a lack of time to practice, Sir Victor and I finally debuted this new move! I’ve been wanting to learn this stunt for like 3 years now and can’t wait to perform and perfect it over the season ⚔️
Come see us live at @sandpointrenfaire !

Meet the Knights: Dame Genevieve Vauquelin!

Though she's certain she needs no introduction, Dame Genevieve Vauquelin is the only daughter of a powerful French count. Born in the lap of luxury, Genevieve is proud of her family wealth, and won't hesistate to introduce herself as one of the highest status fighters on the field.

Though some might call her a vain, petulant, gossiping bully, Genevieve is certain their animosity stems from jealousy, and she magnanimously forgives their misguided anger. Unfortunately for her opponents, Genevieve is a competent fighter and often backs up her boasts with martial skill.

8 years of training and fighting alongside @theseattleknights and I couldn’t be happier I took that chance 8 years ago to join a group I saw once at a ren faire.
Never give up on your childhood dreams of owning a sword ⚔️

I love this trend and had to make my own!
@theseattleknights have one more show coming up this weekend before our season ends. Join us at @lvrenfair!

I’ve shared the ending move to this fight a couple times but never the full choreo! It’s so fun to perform this one, thank you to Sir Victor for always being an excellent fight partner ⚔️

Come see us perform at @spokanerenaissancefaire and @lvrenfair in October!
You can also catch @theseattleknights at @therealmsunknown in a couple weeks, though I shall sadly be missing that faire.

Some pictures from @canterburyrenaissancefaire
Thank you to photographer Zach Wilson (who is not on Instagram, smart man) for capturing these!

Canterbury is one of my favorite faires of the year. The atmosphere, the crowd, and our wonderful hosts are all lovely.
This year we got especially lucky with the weather and the crowds were absolutely electric. I experienced some of my favorite moments of all my years as a knight at Canterbury this year.

But the season is not over yet! I’ll be at @cascadiarenfaire (Sunday only), @spokanerenaissancefaire, and @lvrenfair in September and October

Another full fight from Canterbury!
This one with the fearsome Dame Catrin as my fight partner. After the show, we both said we felt like we were wading through water during this fight, but I think we pulled off some decent speed despite the footing and our exhaustion ⚔️

Thank you to our friend in the audience for capturing this for us!

My full fight with @seattle_superman! Thank you to much to the @theseattleknights videographer for capturing this. I will never forget the energy of that crowd. I love hearing the reactions of excitement and dread to the ups and downs (in this case literally) of who is appearing to have the upper hand in the fight.
We’ve been working on this fight for a while now, and it’s so satisfying to have all that work pay off. Thank you Sir Silas Oaktower for being an awesome fight partner 💙❤️ Excited to make this fight even better!
