Recently I read a post about how there used to be a hidden magic to the art process and how instagram is is allowing everyone to see "behind the curtain" now. That rang true for me. However, I know there are many of you learning from our process videos. This is for you all! I have learned so much from what other people share, so I feel I should help others on their way. Hope this helps! by @haleerothart

Going through a bit of a green period... kinda looks like my garden right now. Also feels a little bewitching which is good for October!

Getting cooler... and feeling good about it. I love orange, but I also love a good blue green. Not saying this is my new palette, but I like it.

My figures are purposely in an environment that is both obscure and natural. As with the figure, it’s not about a particular place or person. This is a place everyone has visited and is in right now. It represents the world around us in all its complexity. It is dying and being reborn. It is dark and uninviting and also has celestial light. All the things out there are also things happening inside of us. We’re complicated. Sometimes we need the dark to appreciate the light, death, life, interconnectedness of all of us through elements of nature.
