@detroit4fest was definitely an event like no other. But the incoming rain forecast on Saturday kinda put us in the situation to cut our visit short. Well after an eventful nearly 14 hours for a 7 hour pull, the #jeep is back in the garage. First a little bumper to bumper coming out of #pigeonforge to add to our travel time. Then, lost boost on the tow rig about an hour outside of Pigeon Forge. Limped our way to a local auto parts store for some trial and error fun time under the hood. No codes. No lights. Just no power. Continued our strugglethrough some backroads where I felt we would die falling over the edge with the truck and trailer (beautiful backroads, going back in the jeep) . . . But continued on to navigate to less mountainous roads. Later to add a 45 ish minute construction delay. Got moving again blinkers a blinkin’ ranging from 15-55 mph depending on the hill climbs and descents. With better route adjustments, we made up some time with no traffic and flatter roads only to hit a closed road due to a lifeline situation adding more time and had to back track to the last major intersection. . . Lo and behold, much like the #gsmji2026 our trip home is over. #jeeplife #offroad taken in The Jeep Garage by @halfcleanjeep
