My attempt to chant Jin Jiyan Azadi, in the pro monarch protest. #iranprotest

Pahlavi movement is a right wing, patriarchal, fascist movement. Designed to create an Iran that is pro Zionist, capitalist and anti Kurd, Baluch, and other minorities.

This is not democracy! This is not freedom, it’s a change of dictator and global alliances. taken in Los Angeles, California by @hamouniran

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of creating a multi sensory cultural experience for our community. From screening three beautiful movies from the directors, @jaedirects @smilez94, and @hamouniran to having a lovely discussion with the award winning Yazidi activist, journalist and filmmaker @duzentekkal and eating a wonderful meal prepared by @heidyaplate and listening to the tunes of @whereisnoamz and the international Kurdish DJ, @thedemirworld. Special thank you to @silktiger for overseeing this production and @ucla_filmtv for hosting our inaugural event. @ucla_tft @uclatftdean

This event would not be possible without the support of @californiakurds @socalkurds and all of our wonderful attendees

Our next event with be September 19th. More information will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Thank you @dexterfletcher_photos for your photography and videography. Not all photos in this post are by him. But more videos from the QA will be released soon.

So viele Herzensbegegnungen.
