THE FLOODGATES ARE OPEN.

HRBT Memberships are officially live.

This whole thing has been bootstrapped from day one. No investors. No giant company behind it. Just an idea, a shitload of tee times, and a community of golfers who kept showing up.

Now we’re seeing how far we can take it.

There are five ways to be part of HRBT…

Every dollar from membership goes back into HRBT — events, prizes, technology, content, member gear, operations, partnerships and whatever ridiculous idea we come up with next.

This isn’t us putting a paywall around the community.

HRBT Community stays free.

Membership is for the people who want more, and for the people who want to help us create more.

Better golf. Better events. More people. Bigger ideas.

We have absolutely no idea how big this thing can get.

But the doors are open.

Welcome to The Hampton Roads Bogey Team — Golf + Social Club.

Memberships are LIVE on our website:

DISCOVER WAYS TO PLAY
There’s no one way to be part of HRBT.
Compete. Travel. Find a random tee time. Build a squad. Show up to something weird.

Just come play golf.

01 — RANDOM TEE TIMES
You don’t need a foursome. You don’t even need a plan.
Drop a tee time in the clubhouse and see who shows up. 🤝

02 — MONTHLY OUTINGS
Sometimes we just wanna go play golf somewhere cool.
New courses. Good people. Optional day game. Just pay the greens fee and come play.

03 — HRBT SQUADS
Find your people. Pick your colors. Defend ’em.
4 players. 6 months. 6 events. One hell of a way to play golf with your Squad. Season 001 is Underway Now!

04 — THE HAMPTON ROADS BOGEY TOUR
For when “just playing for fun” isn’t quite enough.
A season-long race across the 757. Gross. Net. Points. Pressure. A whole lot of Bogeys.

05 — POP-UPS
Not everything needs a season or a leaderboard.
Putt-putt. Range nights. Charity events. Random nonsense. If it sounds fun, we’ve probably got something in the works.

WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE TEE
This whole thing grows one golfer at a time.

Like the page. Share something with your golf group. Join the club on @parfourapp

It genuinely means a lot and it helps us keep building golf in the 757. taken in Virginia Beach, Virginia by @hamptonroadsbogeyteam

ROUND 002. THIS ONE’S PERSONAL. 🏴‍☠️

Sunday at Cypress Point, Squads goes head to head in Individual Match Play. Every pairing has a point on the line and a whole squad expecting you to bring it home.

The lows have expectations. The mids have something to prove. The highs have strokes, and they intend to use every damn one.

And bringing up the caboose? Carson and Cameron. Just the two of them, 18 holes, and absolutely nowhere to hide. Somebody check on that handshake.

Swipe through this months featured matchups. Pick your winners. Support your Squad!

Then back it up Sunday.

Not playing? You can watch the action unfold live on @parfourapp

#HRBTSquads #HamptonRoadsBogeyTeam #Golf #socialclub #golfcommunity

The ladies have a point to gain, too.

Sunday at Cypress, friendly conversation comes with a competitive agenda. Rooting for you to play well gets complicated when your putt is worth a point for the other squad.

Expect a few laughs, some pressure putts, and a very selective understanding of “Good shot”

Bring your game. Make her earn it.

The handicaps are low. The expectations are unreasonable.

These boys have spent their whole lives getting good at golf. Sunday feels like a fine time to prove it.

One opponent. One point for their squad. And somebody’s leaving Cypress with a very detailed explanation of how they lost.

A par with a stroke can ruin a good player’s whole afternoon.

The high handicaps head to Cypress with plenty of pops and every intention of making them everybody else’s problem.

Forget the last hole. Win the next one. Your squad gets the same point whether it was pretty or an absolute crime scene.

Good enough to make birdie. Creative enough to make triple from the same spot.

Welcome to the mids, where no lead is safe and “I’ve figured something out” usually comes right before a lost ball.

Don’t forget on Sunday that when you start trying to hit shots you saw on YouTube, you only have to beat the guy across from you.

The caboose has been designated a diplomatic mission.

Carson. Cameron. A twosome. Eighteen holes of uninterrupted quality time with someone they wouldn’t exactly choose for a road trip.

Here it is…

9x9 - Nine by Nine

A culmination of my absolute favorite things on this planet.

Mornings, Coffee, Yoga, and Golf.

We are incredibly blessed to get to partner with @firstteehamptonroads @daybreakcoffeeclub @puregreen.hilltop and @drinkcrunchy to offer your new favorite morning ritual.

After a much-needed break from teaching, this feels like the right way to come back. Sharing a practice that’s given me so much, with a community that’s done the same.

We’ll move, breathe, have some coffee, and head out for nine. Before Nine. A little time for ourselves before the day starts asking things of us.

You don’t have to be good at yoga. You don’t have to be good at golf. Being a beginner is part of the point. Come as you are, bring a friend, and meet a few more.

Our first morning together is Friday, November 13th at First Tee of Hampton Roads.

Walk off the mat and onto the course.

Well… this escalated. 😂

Last winter, 36 golfers showed up in the cold and helped us raise nearly $5,000 for First Tee Hampton Roads.

Then the Commonwealth Cup fell apart.

Kyle and I started texting.

And somewhere between “RVA is gonna bail” and “we should have been doing it ourselves,” the Ruff Ryder Cup came back to life.

RUFF RYDER CUP 2
HRBT vs. GET LOOSE GOLF
NOVEMBER 1 • FIRST TEE HAMPTON ROADS

Two Giant Teams.
27 holes.
Better Ball. Alternate Shot. Singles.
Food, drinks, contests, raffles, local partners and a whole lotta shit talking.

All benefiting First Tee Hampton Roads.

This isn’t the Commonwealth Cup replacement.

This is the event we probably should’ve been throwing all along.

Registration is OPEN.
Bring your game.

SQUADS IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY.

15 teams. 60 players. 30 two-man teams.
One afternoon at Heron Ridge and the board already looks a whole lot different.

Event 001 finally gave us our first real look at what this league is going to be.

Some teams came out swinging.
Some split the day.
Some found out very quickly that handicaps make absolutely nobody safe.

Golf Over There, Southside Stick-Up Kids and The Turn Dawgs leave Heron Ridge perfect at 2–0 and sitting on 4 points.

Pink Panthers and Mulligan Mafia gave us our first draw of the season, both posting NET 59 and NEW BEST FRIENDS!

And after one event, we’ve already got teams separated by a shot, matches coming down to the final holes, and a standings table that’s going to get crowded fast.

This is exactly what SQUADS was supposed to be.

Your team. Your colors. Your franchise. Your people.
Eighteen holes with something actually riding on it.

EVENT 001 — HERON RIDGE

Swipe through every matchup →
then check the final slide for the table.

Week 001 is in the books.

Next stop: Cypress Point.
Individual Match Play.

Now it gets personal.

THE TOP 5. 👀

15 Squads entered the season. Five are sitting at the top of the Power Rankings heading into this weekend.

1. Munford & Sons
2. Search Party
3. Caddy Issues
4. Southside Stick Up Kids
5. Swingin’ Richards

Some are loaded with low handicaps. Some have depth for days. Some have enough strokes to make you question the entire handicap system. 😂

But rankings don’t win points.

Sunday does.

Swipe through to meet the current Top 5, see who’s hiding behind those team names, and get a little scouting report before we start this thing at Heron Ridge this weekend.

And shoutout to our official live-scoring partner @parfourapp keeping the leaderboard honest while the rest of us argue about it.

Power Rankings are temporary. Receipts are forever.

#HRBTSquads #HamptonRoadsBogeyTeam #757Golf #VirginiaGolf #golf

#1 — Munford & Sons
Daddy’s home. And apparently he brought the whole damn family. 🥇

#2 — Search Party
Turns out they weren’t that hard to find. 🔎

#3 — Caddy Issues
Six deep. Good luck guessing which four are showing up. 🫡

#4 — Southside Stick Up Kids
Hide your strokes. Hide your points. Southside’s outside. 🥷

#5 — Swingin’ Richards
A 4, a 4.7, and enough Stogies to cause some serious problems. 🚬

Once a month, we go somewhere worth playing.

No standings. No points. No competition.

Just good people, a new course, and an excuse to get out of the 757 for the day.

This month we crossed the state line into the Inner Banks of North Carolina and played @albemarleplantation

Next up, we’re headed to Williamsburg.

OCTOBERS MONTHLY OUTING → 10/4
📍 @colheritageclub

Open to anybody who wants to come play.

New courses. New people. Just pay the greens fee.

Labor Day at @occanogolf

Turns out a boys trip doesn’t have to be all that complicated.

Get up early. Make the drive. Play 36 holes somewhere that feels a hell of a lot farther from home than it actually is. Laugh all day. Watch the sun start going down over one of the best places in golf and head home tired and happy.

That’s a pretty damn good day.

Occano, we’ll be back. ⛳️
