⚡️Busiest cooking season of my life. Suprised myself for only having one real bad break down at the end but really just feeling so proud. I took on WAY too much but it was so worth it. Love my chef family, the clients I have, the experiences that keep piling up and the ability to just keep it going. I’m relieved and happy for this path and blessed I get to do it with so many amazing people. Especially my boo and work wife @brebrecool . ⚡️ by @han.slattery

Been feeling good to cook small scale again and be home. First week with my new in house clients

1. Ground Turkey larb over bone broth rice
2. Tofu turmeric stew
3. Roast chicken over miso kabocha squash puree, roasted carrots and a beet orange vinegar

A little look into our life on scene at the Oregon coast for one of the most rewarding/challenging and heartfelt experiences in my life. Nourishing the revolving door of influential individuals for @colinobrady training camp was amazing. There is a lot to unpack but to keep it short and sweet, I have really grown as a chef out there and I’m full of inspiration for this path and this experience has shown me what can be possible. Excited for the next steps, the next adventures and I simply cannot get over getting to do this with my best friend. The amount of laugher in the kitchen is unreal and I feel so lucky. New name and business coming soon to be shared with y’all ✨✨ by @han.slattery

I used to go to the animal rescue league in Ames, Iowa all the time to check out the cats and one day I was about to leave and this kitten woke up from a sleep, stretched all big and exposed his tiny tail. I didn’t even take him into a room to meet him. I ran to the desk and filled out the paperwork and took him home that day. He came with the name Stubbs and I never changed it. I was 15-16 years old and it was the best spontaneous decision I’ve ever made. Stubbs has been the most constant thing in my life and I wish he knew how his presence has grounded me over the last 20 years. If you had the pleasure of meeting him (and so many of you did) you know how utterly sweet this silly boy was. Had such a loving open personality that loved water and carrot cake. I don’t even know how to put into words how much this boy meant to me but all I know is he made a massive impact on my life and I’m going to miss him more than anything. RIP to an absolute legend 💗✨💗 by @han.slattery

Always bittersweet when I leave Maine summers. This year was my favorite year. Soaked up so much family time, got to show this magical place to some of our best friends, made a kitchen a family business for a few weeks and got to be in nature every day. It’s always hard to leave my family but so grateful I leave each time with a heart so full and tears in my eyes. Leaving inspired once again and excited for things to come. 💗✨ by @han.slattery
