Tour de Leaves 2026

What started as a random idea to spend four weekends driving around Colorado chasing fall colors and big bike rides turned into what will be one of my favorite traditions.

Telluride brought cold rain, a great campsite, and a hike up Imogene Pass.

Steamboat was Hannah’s first 100-mile bike ride, with some fence hopping and creek crossings.

Crested Butte gave us incredible singletrack, gravel climbs, and some of the best riding of the whole trip.

Breckenridge was a slower finish, with long stretches of bike path through the aspens and great conversation.

Every weekend felt completely different, and that was part of what made it special.

More than anything, it’s been such a privilege to share this life with Hannah.

Summer Part 1!

The brain is a funny lil place. While living in my dream place that I am SO happy to be, being surrounded by truly the most cup-filling, sweet souls, and having a supportive and loving partner, my lil brain has been rough on me! Albeit having a hard time this year, I can also say there’s been a lot of blissful highs. My heart is happy in the mean time

I ran my first Ultra back home in the WV mountains with my cousin and friend. Josh got to come meet more of my family and i got to finish in the arms of @raticadana . I got to be surrounded by so many people I love!!!
More friends visited, and they met my CO girlfriends.
Some of my kids from youth soccer coaching days had a tournament in Denver, so got to catch up with a few of them. SO amazing
The CO wildflowers are in full bloom
I got a mountain bike and I am very far out of my comfort zone, but it’s (sometimes) fun to be a beginner again
Chase finished the Tour Divide and Josh got to join him for a leg. I watched my girl Jo be the ultimate partner and crew him.
Our sweet Kleo went to heaven with her mountain family right next to her. (& Lauren was in town for the heartbreak)
Lauren went from sea level to bear peak in record time. A FL beast.

Sometimes it’s not that great but it really isn’t that hard to find the great things.

ahhhhh to feel so self sufficient, empowered, and independent 😊 except when it comes to scary men in red trucks and bears!

i love my curiosity to see the world, i love Smuckers, & I really love all these moments that i audibly say “how lucky am I?!”
