Our team traveled to Arizona this past weekend to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of @centralfabricatorsassociation! Wonderful event highlighting the success of the most prominent organization in the fabrication industry. Had an incredible time connecting with our friends, networking with our peers and learning from one another as we continue to push our industry forward!

Stacking Steel!!

That’s the name of the game!

With our new addition we significantly improved the flow of material through our shop.

Better flow = Greater efficiency = More capacity!

Precision.

It’s in everything we do.

Every hole we drill.

Every bead we lay.

Every piece we fit.

When it comes to #steelconstruction the tolerances have to be exact.

This is one of the many reasons people choose to #buildwithsteel

Rusty steel goes in…

Clean steel comes out!

Our @oceanmachinery shot blaster makes short work of cleaning steel. One of the best additions we have made to our shop!

We may be a structural fabrication company…

We aren’t a one trick pony though!

Hancock Steel provides custom fabrication services for anything you can dream up!

Even if it’s a just a sketch on a napkin - Chances are we can bring it to life!

Here are two examples of custom fabrication work we recently completed.

Note - We do not make the wooden tops for these desks/tables.

We have those made in accordance with the clients needs!

Let us know the project you’ve been dreaming of!

Hancock Structural Steel officially opened its doors in 2007.

It’s roots go much, much further back than that.

I’ve known the man to my left almost my entire life.

About 30 years to be specific.

His family and my family have worked together for generations.

I remember as a child, walking into the shop of my family’s construction yard and seeing the sign that read “Andy Iron” hanging high on the wall - In tribute to the man that did all of the in-house fabrication work for our construction company.

When my Father saw an opportunity to eliminate the need for an outside fabricator in 2006, he gave Andy Boyce the opportunity to build something entirely new.

Andy took the opportunity and ran with it.

In the summer of 2006, I came home from college to work in the fabrication shop with him.

The shop was half the size, we had 1 crane and 1 truck.

Andy taught me how to weld. Taught me how to measure and cut steel. How to drill plate and load a truck.

Now, 16 years later, HSS is a multi-million dollar business. We’ve expanded our shop once and we’re in need of another expansion. We have 3 cranes. We have a fleet of trucks.

We couldn’t have done any of it without Andy.

He’s an integral part of the incredible team here at HSS.

And I am thrilled to be part of it - again.

Thank you Andy for your dedication. For your leadership. For your loyalty.

Most of all, for your trust. by @hancockstructuralsteel
