July in Review. Kicked it off by donating Valkyrie to @lovelandlivingplanet. Bittersweet moment - no question it was the best move for her. Moved back to PC officially and got outside as much as possible. There’s no way to describe how grounded my soul feels in the mountains. Had the most extended time with Rogue I’ve had in a year. Overnights, full days playing in the mountains, the pool, trips to see Valkyrie and a whole lot of trial and error with meals for him 😅 Obligatory stops @wafflehouseofficial Still hitting the iron and working on bodyweight movements a lot more. Combining that with rucks and feeling really good physically. Spent a weekend with my brothers @bob.olesen.92 and @robsirstins reconnecting with ourselves and each other 🙏🏻 Had a sweet piece made for Congressman Latta when he visited @hancockstructuralsteel Soaked up as much cuddle time as possible with my little man 💙 July was a turning point and a hell of a launchpad for the remainder of 2026. Feeling incredibly grateful for all the people and events of this last month 🙏🏻💫

June in review. Big lizards & baby snakes. Tons of steel moving through @hancockstructuralsteel Lots of playground days with Rogue. Open roads & quiet time. Hitting the iron to keep myself anchored. Seattle for @fifaworldcup Great times with childhood friends, somehow we all grew up? Still working on getting Rogue to enjoy steak Epic Fathers Day with my Dad & Rogue Can’t believe 2026 is half over. Just keep making progress day by day.

Expansion. It’s one of the most uncomfortable things you will ever do. It’s the true definition of faith. Because you are venturing into the unknown with zero guarantee of how it will turn out. You can’t learn to fly if you don’t jump first. Off the cliff we go 🦅

Hancock Structural Steel officially opened its doors in 2007. It’s roots go much, much further back than that. I’ve known the man to my left almost my entire life. About 30 years to be specific. His family and my family have worked together for generations. I remember as a child, walking into the shop of my family’s construction yard and seeing the sign that read “Andy Iron” hanging high on the wall - In tribute to the man that did all of the in-house fabrication work for our construction company. When my Father saw an opportunity to eliminate the need for an outside fabricator in 2006, he gave Andy Boyce the opportunity to build something entirely new. Andy took the opportunity and ran with it. In the summer of 2006, I came home from college to work in the fabrication shop with him. The shop was half the size, we had 1 crane and 1 truck. Andy taught me how to weld. Taught me how to measure and cut steel. How to drill plate and load a truck. Now, 16 years later, HSS is a multi-million dollar business. We’ve expanded our shop once and we’re in need of another expansion. We have 3 cranes. We have a fleet of trucks. We couldn’t have done any of it without Andy. He’s an integral part of the incredible team here at HSS. And I am thrilled to be part of it - again. Thank you Andy for your dedication. For your leadership. For your loyalty. Most of all, for your trust.
