For sure going to algorithm hell for this long (😅) video but fuckittttt… I used to (and still do) watch videos of hoopers in awe, dreaming of someday moving so freely in my body and creating hypnotic, magical movement art ✨

First pain-free press in a while 🥳 after taking some time off ‘serious’ handstand training and presses due to an injury, I was very afraid that I was going to lose my press, a skill I have been working on for 2+ years.

However, my press has somehow come back cleaner than ever and it goes to show how important rest is, and also how movement patterns integrate into your body and mind through repetition & rest, something @acrojoey was explaining to me before.

Learning to fall is part of learning to balance 🤸‍♀️

If you’re always trying to avoid going too far, you’re limiting your ability to learn how to balance

Learning how to safely fall out of your handstand is an essential skill for building confidence, overcoming fear and ultimately learning how to balance away from the wall

In my Fall to Fly workshop, we’ll progressively breakdown the steps to fall out of your handstand, using the wall and partner-assisted exercises to build confidence

You’ll leave feeling more confident upside down, less afraid of falling and more ready to start taking your handstand practice away from the wall 🤸‍♀️
