Dora Skelton is teaching at @jungle.fiesta 🌴

In her own words:
“I am a handbalancer and coach with over a decade of both training and teaching experience. I believe in an individualized approach to coaching, giving each student a small number of specific, actionable takeaways tailored to their needs. My goal is for students to leave with a clear direction for their training and the tools to continue making meaningful progress.”

Jungle Fiesta is a 5-day handstand festival at Ozen Retreat Centre in Riviera Maya, Mexico, 50 minutes from Cancún airport. Accommodation and meals are included, and every level is welcome, from first handstand to one-arm.

“As we adapt the body to the technique we also need to consider when it’s appropriate to adapt the technique to the body.” – Mikael Kristiansen

Mikael Kristiansen is a circus artist educated at DOCH, Stockholm, who has been working internationally as a teacher and performer for over 15 years.

As a teacher, Mikael focuses on the relationship between biomechanics, physics and technique. He aspires to cultivate both the physical and the mental parts of handbalancing for a deeper understanding of the practice.

While staying true to efficiency and technique, his research into handbalancing training is directed towards individual differences, both when it comes to bodies and learning strategies.

Some snaps from September! Thanks to everyone who came, who taught and who helped create an unforgettable week!

We laughed, we pushed, we pushed harder. Valencia, see you again soon.

Next stop: Jungle Fiesta, Playa del Carmen, Mexico, 12–17 March 2027.

This one’s a whole different level. Nothing like anything we’ve done before. All-inclusive at Ozen Resort in the Riviera Maya: your room, your food, your training, all sorted. Pool on site. A huge marble floored hall that’s ours alone, jungle all around, the Caribbean down the road. You just show up and train, chill, connect. The global handstand community, together in one place. @jungle.fiesta for info!

Early Bird entry is open - limited spaces available! 🤸‍♀️🤸🇲🇽
