By @handstudio.sydney⁠ ⁠ Have A Nice Day created the identity for CANESS, a Sydney tapas bar that strips everything back to focus on what matters. The name means ‘come in,’ which inspired charming lo-fi door illustrations that welcome its guests. The identity draws from old tobacconists and tape shops with bold, utilitarian graphics built to last. A clean, condensed serif anchors the brand, while the paint-style illustrations channel early Windows programmes. The Spanish-inspired colour palette flows through every touchpoint. Over the past few months, we’ve been working on the branding for PAPALOTE @papalotemexican — a Mexican cantina bursting with style, color, and that unmistakable Mexican vibe.
