HANIMAL SELECTA
HEAVY VIBEZ
KAPAHULU, OAHU, HAWAII

Hanimal is a solid dude. I linked him about a week before I landed to play at his weekly Vibes And Tings over at White Sands in Waikīkī. I briefly met him last time I made the trip. This time I really took a liking to this guy. One of those people you kinda just wanna be around.

Anyways, man dropped a bag of Ariwa productions that really blew me away. For some reason I never dived into that era. I remember he said “I mean I know it’s all love songs and stuff…” I butted in and said “bro, those are the best songs.” Which is true. This song your hearing is the first one where I said “bro wtf is that?!” And in my head I thought “I should be driving around with a lady and not standing here alone with a bag of wax.”

Part I love about music is you never know it all.

Since then I really found out I was missing out.

I took the portrait photos during the day. It was blazing hot out and we were talking outside in the blazing sun for almost two hours. You could see me sweating through my shirt. I didn’t even wanna leave but we both had commitments. Could’ve bull shitted for another 2 easily.

Those are the best moments in life.

I was really sad when I left Oahu cause Im not sure when we’ll link again but who knows what’s in the future. Even typing this kinda bums me out but in a good way. I don’t really ask people to take photos with but a couple times strangers walked by and I asked them to grab a couple for me.

Shout out to Hanimal. If you’re on Oahu and it’s a Thursday slide through to White Sands. Every week Vibes and Tings, Ya know?
