Honolulu Marathon 2025. A day I could never possibly forget!!!!🌺🌊💛🏃🏼‍♀️ It’s hard to find the words to sum up this journey, but I’m going to try. It might sound dramatic, but running has changed the way I see life for the better. Training for a marathon and dealing with an injury, all while experiencing so much change in this season of my life has truly taught me so much about myself. Above all, it’s taught me that with the courage to believe in yourself, anything really is possible. Reflecting on the outpour of love from family, friends, and strangers that has been the result of training for this marathon is wild. The amount of positivity and inspiration I’ve found through this hobby of mine is beyond incredible! Going into this race, I was all nerves. I hadn’t run much at all since mid October due to a knee injury and had no idea if I’d even finish, but I knew that not trying wasn’t an option. Still can’t believe I did it!! I love my family. I love my friends. I love running, and I can’t wait to run another one someday soon(ish) lol. 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵 (P.s. swipe to the end to see the reality of leaving to run your first marathon when it’s pouring rain at 3:30 a.m.) by @hannah_wil2
