I love being spontaneous and flexible but there are a few things that keep our mornings a little more peaceful and predictable when we’re at home.

Toy resetting every night?! a little crazy right?
I have 4 cubby’s with specific toys that i put back every night so that in the morning i can sit down and journal and read my bible. Some mornings it doesn’t always work out but the predictably for her is nice, she knows what’s available to her while i sit down.

Preschool sheets🍎 we love these. i make them all and im no artist but she loves them.
some sheets require my full attention and explaining instructions but others she catches on and can do by herself. we’re learning shapes, numbers and letters but appropriate to her age and having the most fun weaving in fun ways to do it with crafts and coloring 🦋

all the other stuff 🪩 little sis comes along to almost everything. we hang out with my friends, i take her to the things i like to do, we go to the library a couple times a week and i bring her into everything i do so we both have a fun filled week:) honorable mentions that are DEFINITELY a daily occurrence are dance parties in the kitchen to “rest on us”, making coffee together, & praying for the gilley’s (lol) by @hanprevatte

a journal entry of photos for our second pregnancy, our 2nd girl and newest littlest love.

The days go by fast, your big sister crushes the sides of my belly as she sits on top of you, hugging my neck and saying my name over and over, the name you’ll come to know and probably the second word you’ll learn (dad being the first name recognized is beyond sweet to me) you probably hear a lot of “gentle!” and “baby sister is in there” and we can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into this little family that God created with such detail and beauty!! here’s to a louder house, toys of a baby and a toddler, girly colors, stickers on the walls, pink clothes and crumbs in the sides of our car💕 by @hanprevatte
