Happy birthday to my love who turned 44 today! Spent it wondering around Seville, drinking wine, eating tapas and hiding from the sun... by @hanski_grows

Finally getting around to posting some photos from my family trip to Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

My Nana was born on this island and lived there until she was 16. It's a very special place and I couldn't believe it had been 24 years since I'd last visited.

It's such a gorgeous landscape and so lovely to connect with the extended family; we (my sister and I), were with my aunt, uncles, my nana, my great aunt & uncle, cousins, second cousins, it was hard to keep track of everyone!

We were so lucky with the weather as well, a whole week of warm sunshine (and no rain!) on Barra is almost unheard of!

It feels very special to be able to come back to this tiny little island where my MacNeil family are from - I won't leave it so long to come back again. taken in Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides by @hanski_grows

The afro fusion crew taking it outdoors 🥵 it was the last class of the season and we really made it counts. The love we share for each other, dance and music is something I wish for every teacher out there 🫶🏾 taken in Urban Dance Studio Lagos by @hanski_grows

Look how young and beautiful we were! 12 years feels like a particularly big milestone for some reason - a lot of it has been hard but a lot of it has been incredibly easy too. So much love and support and appreciation, fun and forgiveness. Watching one another ebb and flow into different versions of ourselves, taking note of all the magic signals and signs along the way. Bowing to the full moon, spotting shooting stars, conjuring porcupines. We have lived so many adventures together and I'm sure there will be many more to come. This guy is so loving, understanding, patient and wise and I am so grateful for everything he does and all the hard work he puts into being alive in this world. Here's to even more love and success for the future 🙌🏻🥰🌱♥️ by @hanski_grows
