What if happiness is not something you find, but something you stop outsourcing?

It is so easy to place our joy in the hands of another person, a future achievement, or a circumstance we cannot completely control.

One of the biggest takeaways from my conversation with happiness coach Aissa Thalia was the reminder that cultivating happiness from within does not mean ignoring anger, sadness, grief, or struggle. It means allowing ourselves to move through those emotions without making our peace entirely dependent on what happens outside of us.
