@refdin_ Next Gen

Next time you get an undesired decision, you can wait around and politely ask the referee why he or she made the decisions they did and it may just help you in your next bout and help you better understand the rules and official’s perspective. taken in Alexandra Palace by @haringeyboxcup

Bletchley’s Male Youth 47kg Boxer and England Boxing Official gave me a quick interview before the action started on day 1. We never managed that action photo of him on day 2 but I’m sure he’ll be back next year!

Black & White - Less Is More - Basics Aren’t Simple

To master one thing, it’s sometimes necessary to remove distracting elements so you can really focus on what matters.

You may need to stop throwing the backhand to master the jab. You may need to remove colour to master composition and story telling.

Basics aren’t simple - They still require mastery!

It’s so subtle you can barely see it! The unfortunate head clash that brought the Male Senior 70kg Final between @ryan_jenkins218 and @billyw_01 @haringeyboxcup to an abrupt finish and over to the judges scorecards during the 1st round 🥊🩸

The full bout including Ryan’s SF bout against @_joegiles is on youtube.com/@boxingtunes by @haringeyboxcup

Billy Macey added another Haringey Gold to his long list of accolades. As humble and entertaining as they come and we may have seen the last of him in the amateur ranks as he puts the pro game on alert!

Comment below if you’d like to see his full interview and SF bout against his good friend and fierce rival @rileyhmurray on youtube 🥊📸🎥 by @haringeyboxcup
