Key Risk Factors
Age: The risk rises significantly after age 50.

Ethnicity: Black men have a higher risk, developing the disease at double the rate of other groups.

Genetics: A family history of prostate, breast, or ovarian cancers increases your risk. Having a known BRCA2 gene mutation heavily increases the risk of aggressive strains.
