I had a morning earlier this week where suddenly I got a little anxious, and I said to myself, “What is wrong with you?” 😅

I honestly had nothing to worry about; it was the most unhurried morning of my week, too.

I made my coffee ☕️ sat down, and opened my Bible to Philippines 4. I know this scripture, but the moment I read, “don’t worry about anything,” I started to feel myself calm.

Just before, in verse 6, it says this…
“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

✨Don’t lose your JOY worrying; God is faithful to take care of you. 🫶🏼

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭8‬, ‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭
Isaiah 55:12
Luke 12:22-34

Faith ✞♡

“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.

Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.

They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🔆Let the dawning day bring me revelation of your tender, unfailing love.

💡Give me light for my path and teach me, for I trust in you. Save me from all my enemies, for I hide myself in you.

🤓 I just want to obey all you ask of me. So teach me, Lord, for you are my God.

🤍 Your gracious Spirit is all I need, so lead me on good paths that are pleasing to you, my one and only God!

Five years apart 💖

Going into 2021, I had no idea what the year would bring—or how wild the next five years would turn out.

By early summer, it was realized that I was in deep burnout, and I stepped into a much-needed sabbatical. After that, a full-on rollercoaster 🎢—and I’m still on the ride.

I only wish I’d noticed the signs sooner… maybe the ride would’ve been a little gentler 😆
But the Lord knew and was already setting things in motion.

Staying surrendered to the process has kept me grounded, rested, and honestly… more myself than I’ve ever been 💖

Jesus has been my source the whole time—even when the path was foggy 🤍

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.”
Psalm 23:1 (NLT)

“My grace is all you need… For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:9–10 (NLT)

“When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow… If you need wisdom, ask our generous God.”
James 1:3–6 (NLT)

Snow days = slower pace to enjoy the small moments and rest from our busy lives.

I was thinking, we just came out of the holiday season where we get so busy we forget to rest and these last few days while seemingly inconvenient for many, it really is a blessing!

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

💫The little moments of today matter…be present you can trust the Lord

🥷 “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.””

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🩵 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

💛 “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin,…”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬a NLT‬‬

💚 “Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭27‬, ‭30‬, ‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is in the business of restoration 💫

Our part is surrendering to his process and trusting His way, since He has the original blueprints 💙

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

“I will gather you who mourn for the appointed festivals; you will be disgraced no more.

And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed.

On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Conclusion on RESTORATION from the @biblehub :

The biblical theme of restoration is multifaceted, encompassing physical healing, spiritual renewal, relational reconciliation, and the ultimate restoration of creation. It reflects God’s redemptive nature and His desire to bring wholeness and renewal to His people and the world.

Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary:
1. (v. t.) To bring back to its former state; to bring back from a state of ruin, decay, disease, or the like; to repair; to renew; to recover.
2. (v. t.) To give or bring back, as that which has been lost., or taken away; to bring back to the owner; to replace.
3. (v. t.) To renew; to reestablish; as, to restore harmony among those who are variance.
** Variance = divergent (meaning: moving or extending in different directions from a common point : diverging from each other)

🤯 Since the fall of Adam we've been Divergents. Somehow we think we can do this life on our own - that would be an epic fail, a total disaster 🏴‍☠️🪦🔥😈
We have to be completely dependent to gain life, a life of surrender. There's hope in surrender because God is in control and he can sort through our mess.
💜 Remember details are His speciality🫶🏼

I love to look at the stars ✨

Sometimes I take a picture of them… a picture never does them justice 😏

But every time I look up at them, I am always amazed 😍
Night after night since the beginning of time, the night sky lights up with endless stars. Even when it’s cloudy and I can’t see them, I know they’re still up there doing what God created them to do: SHINE.

We get to visibly see evidence that His faithful love endures forever 🤩 by @harmonious

Be Ready…

“Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning, as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast. Then you will be ready to open the door and let him in the moment he arrives and knocks.

The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!

He may come in the middle of the night or just before dawn. But whenever he comes, he will reward the servants who are ready.

“Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would not permit his house to be broken into.

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭35‬-‭40 ‭NLT‬‬
