Celebrating 9 years married and 15 years since we first met. Grateful to get older and enjoy life with @dylanbo by my side. Snuck away for one night and came back feeling like I’ve been off grid for a week. Mendocino vibes run deep 😉

ICYMI, I saved the day with a little out and back trip to Portland to secure Dylan’s passport in what is now known as Operation Passport. Rest assured, the passport has been returned to it’s rightful owner just in the nick of time and Dylan is off to Chamonix in a few hours. If it sounds a little bit above and beyond, don’t worry, the trip was actually quite self-serving 😉 I got to eat lunch at my favorite spot, attend a birthday party, pick the perfect August blackberries in my parent’s backyard, share a glass of wine with my mom and Rhodes got to spend an evening filled doing yard work with grandpa. It could’ve been worse 😉   Now, I just face not going to UTMB this year. If you see me in town next week, you’ll know my fomo reached a fever pitch. I first went to Chamonix in the summer of 2007 when I was living in Talloires and have been coming to UTMB since 2014 (shoutout to the best friend’s trip ever that year). It’s definitely feeling bittersweet to miss it this year and I miiiight be looking at last minute tickets every other hour. Happy 4th Birthday to our sweet boy ❤️   It has been the most fun year ever, full of swimming, running, soccer, pedal biking, popping wheelies, and referring to yourself as Alex Honnold while you attempt to down climb ridiculously precarious rock formations. With your Harry Potter scar and missing tooth, you are basically a VIP at the local ER. Your wild vibes are next level and the number of people who tell me your energy is unmatched is…a lot. It’s no wonder over half the photos I have of you this year are taken trailing you from behind as you run off into the distance.   So proud of you and lucky af to be your mom. Never a dull moment is an understatement. Thanks for still occasionally rocking a good matched set and continually being the world’s best at sharing.   Hanging out with you is so freaking fun and I already miss this time while I still have it.  Amo, je t’aime, I love you ❤️ taken in Marin County, California by @harmonyalyssa

Celebrating my guy for his birthday a few weeks ago 😍. Extra special to be back in Big Sur almost exactly 10 years after getting engaged on the top of Cone Peak. We traded that adventure for wine with lunch and pool time this visit, but I think I’m finally ready for Stone Ridge part deux. You can see it in the distance in the photo looking south. Feels like yesterday I was debating whether your 25 years was too old to date. Thank god I took a chance on the elder statesman 😉

Too many memories to capture here but my gratitude to grow old together is eternal.

You make life so dang fun and funny I can hardly stand it. Witnessing your acquisition of knowledge and language has truly been life’s greatest joy.

Looking back at my post from your second birthday, I can’t believe how much has changed. You started the year still a chunky little toddler and enter this next year as a full blown human.

Last year was a big year filled with shattered teeth, emergency room visits, lots of adventures, travel, new friends, and so. many. laughs. Your sense of humor is… chef’s kiss.

I love that you have an enormous Harry Potter scar on your forehead that’s barely visible now but is a badass reminder of your love for extreme play ™️. I love that you are missing your front teeth. I love that you roll in dirt, go barefoot and play outside, constantly tripping, falling and laughing 24/7. I love that you have long, luscious curls. I love that you still take tremendously long naps but have the energy of a thousand gsps when you’re awake. I love that you continually demand that your dad (or me or Kim and Topher 😂) talk on the microphone while you pretend to be a ‘running people’. I love that you love flying, make friends on planes and constantly ask about the ‘piolets’. I love that you eat French fries with chopsticks. I love that any time you spill something you immediately shout “but that’s okay!” even when you’ve intentionally spilled it 😉. I love that you bake bread every week and sing songs about punching down the dough. I love that you say ‘Ciao Bella’ randomly and with great frequency. I love that you now say cu-buz instead of because. I love that you’re obsessed with helping. I love that the only present you wanted for your birthday was a cake, some ice cream and maybe some potatoes.

Too many sweet and funny moments to capture but I’m already missing this moment in time while I still have it. Three is the age for me. If you know how to freeze time, plz DM me with deets.

Here’s to watching the whirlwind of time pass with awe and wonder.

Hard to find the words to describe one of the most transformative weeks of my life. What a mind bogglingly wild and crazy and amazing experience. 39 new best friends whose hearts I’ll hold in mine for a lifetime. I’m still in awe of the beauty of it all. The ritual and the choreography. Fucking perfect.

Thank you @hoffmanprocess for reconnecting me with the light of humanity and the brilliance of the universe that lives within us all. Thank you for letting me give my son the greatest gift I could never have expected or imagined. And thank you for letting me now share this incredible experience with my 🤍 @dylanbo . Must fun catch up convo ever after returning home. 😅

A special shoutout to @therealreginalouise Thank you for holding space for us all week. You are a fabulous queen whose story will inspire me forever.

I’ve always been afraid of geese, aggressively protecting their flock. As a flock descended upon my hotel Friday night, I’ve never felt such deep peace. Endlessly grateful to now be part of the flock.🪿Honk🪿 taken in California by @harmonyalyssa

Going to Mexico with 20 friends in January was not on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are. That was so fun! Highlights include seeing whales frolicking right off the shore, running in Bosque de Chapultepec, finally meeting the infamous Chris Ergen 👀, breaking Dry January tradition for the first time in a decade with enough margaritas to last a lifetime, and hucking discs with Dillz.

Jason, please have a birthday here every year!

The perfect week to start a new year. Insane temps in the Bay meant hitting my personal record in beach visits. In just 7 days, we visited our favorite Sausalito beach, Cavallo Point, Muir, Stinson, a secret beach in Tomales Bay, Dillon (obvz) and culminated it all with an early birthday at Nick’s Cove. Every night last week after work we’d head to a new beach, Saturday was a two beach day, and every night we came home exhausted and happy. We celebrated Sunday night and at dinner culled through the year’s highlights and lowlights of which there were many. It helped me remember what’s important and my only goals for this upcoming year are 1️⃣ More beach trips! 2️⃣ More sunsets! 3️⃣ More trail time with friends! 4️⃣ More friends and family time in beautiful places near and far! 5️⃣ More time on airplane more! Bonus: more clapping for myself after all things like in the last video 😅. I love that you are the Ratatouille of babies and have impeccable taste in food. I love that you shattered the sh*t out of your front tooth last weekend and then while we waited for the emergency dentist you tried to somersault off the coach and do it again. I love that you say “hi people” and wave like a Thanksgiving day parade princess whenever you board a plane. I love that you absolutely love brushing your teeth and sometimes sleep with your toothbrush. I love that your new favorite phrase is ‘horse polo one more’ since your guilty pleasure is watching horse polo highlight reels on YouTube. I love that you love ‘Mini & Feef’ and patos and doats and cows. I love that every time you see another kid you point and say “friend!”. I love that you’ve made your impatient parents slightly less impatient. I love that you’re the embodiment of following by example and could gab into a mic all day long. I love that you love to stop on walks and dig in the dirt. I love that you love watering plants and hunting for worms and gardening together. I love that you are absolutely huge and shirts simply don’t fit over your enormous head. I love that you’re missing your front tooth and look like a miniature pirate. I love that you have softened your dad and made me love him even more. I love that you love a good outfit and like picking out cute shoes to wear. I love that if you’re advanced in one area it’s your love for sharing. I love that you’ll probably hate trail running but you love the outdoors and your meltdowns usually result from having to go inside. I love how much you love poles. I love that you give kisses, hold hands and say ‘amo’ unprompted. I love that you’ve been able to travel the world with us since you were a month old. I love that you’ve brought Jessie into our lives. I love that you speak Spanish. I love that you love horses more than trucks and obsess about them 24/7. I love that you made your dad and I parents and made our family complete. I love that you’re so f*ing funny and fun to hang out with. You are the best thing to happen to us and we love you dearly.
