POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Steve came to Thailand at 52 years old. He'd never fought before.

In those first few sessions, Les wasn't even sure this was going to work.

But Steve kept turning up.

He listened. He learned. He got better.

Then he stepped into the ring.

He got knocked down.

And he got back up.

That's what this is really about.

Not becoming a fighter.
Not pretending to be someone you're not.

It's finding out what's still there when you put yourself somewhere that demands a little more from you.

Steve found out.

There's still more in you than you think.

52 years old. Never fought before.

This photo tells you how Steve's night ended.

What it doesn't show you is where he started — or what happened when things got tough.

This afternoon, we'll show you Steve's story. 🥊

Six weeks out. Four spots left. 🇹🇭🥊

Twelve days in Thailand. Train hard. Get away from the routine. Have a bloody good time doing it.

If you've been watching this and thinking maybe — this is probably the moment to stop thinking.

When was the last time you did something that was just for you?

Three days away from the noise. Train hard. Recover properly. Challenge yourself. Have a laugh. Spend time with a small group of blokes doing exactly the same thing.

You don't need to be a boxer.
You don't need to be super fit.
You just need to be willing to have a crack.

The boxing is just the vehicle.

The real work happens between the ears.

That's why men keep coming back.

Laying back now flicking through these pics from fight night, I am very proud of my effort on the night. There is a lot of back story leading up to the night and while I was certainly nowhere near my physical best and not fighting any formidable opponent (however still dangerous and 30 years my junior), I got in, got the job done with my girls and the best group of guys in my corner, including my big bro @allanjarrett6 and closest mates @les_sherrington @stevesteveseiler
Our team closed out the night with all 11 fighters winning, right from an 11yo girl who defeated a 21yo woman to a 65yo winning a masters title belt 30 years after his last fight.
I encourage anyone inclined to seize the opportunity to test and push yourself to a challenge like this! 🥊🥊 Hit me up if you're keen! taken in Pattaya, Thailand by @harmsdave

Nothing about this fight prep has gone to script and while it wasn't the prettiest thing to watch, I literally had about 40 seconds of energy in me to get the job done! Wouldn't have been here at all if it wasn't for the love and support of @les_sherrington and to share the same fight night with big bro @allanjarrett6 and @stevesteveseiler and all the boys on the trip who also made the night a clean sweep of wins! To have my girls @angela.harms_ @livi.harms @cleo.harms was the cherry on top 🍒💙 taken in Pattaya, Thailand by @harmsdave

Proving that us old blokes can still rip in and have a crack! Big bro @allanjarrett6 and I, along with @stevesteveseiler are both off to fight in Thailand on the 21st March. @les_sherrington you are a bloody legend and can't thank you enough for giving us this opportunity and giving us the guidance and hard work to get us there.
