A parcel in the post, a beautiful handwritten letter, a #carepack ! Thank you so much to Edel & Alida Loftus, our great pals @harpduets for your thoughtfulness! The last few gigs we’ve done you’ve noticed the hip-hop-along stride in my step 🤦‍♀️ and were so kind to send me this ‘gem of a gel’ as Edel said it was. Ah, you’re a pair of peaches xxx

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️

Today we’re feeling especially grateful to make music in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Ireland is a country full of music, stories, and celebration, and we’re so proud to be part of that tradition wherever our harps take us...especially when we get to perform outdoors!

Sláinte to the music, the landscapes, the fantastic people and venues that welcome us, and everyone celebrating today. ☘️🎶

Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

Today we’re celebrating all the incredible women we have the privilege of meeting through our music. From brilliant brides and inspiring event organisers to talented fellow musicians and the wonderful women behind the scenes who make every celebration possible — we are constantly inspired by the creativity, strength and kindness we encounter at every event.

Performing harp duets for weddings and special occasions allows us to witness so many meaningful moments, and so many of them are shaped by amazing women.

To all the women we’ve worked with, performed for, and celebrated alongside — thank you for letting us be part of your stories. 💫

Here’s to supporting, uplifting and celebrating women today and every day.

✨️ Harp Duets 🎶

Harp Duets is a truly unique and enchanting musical ensemble featuring the exceptional talents of mother and daughter duo Edel and Alida. Both are celebrated musicians with an impressive command of classical, jazz, modern, and traditional Irish music, creating performances filled with elegance, romance, and unmistakable magic.

For couples seeking something sophisticated, atmospheric, and deeply memorable for their wedding ceremony or drinks reception, Harp Duets offers a beautifully refined experience. Their seamless blend of harps and complementary instruments brings a soft, timeless beauty to any setting, making your celebration feel truly extraordinary.

Edel is an internationally acclaimed musician who has collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists. She presents, produces, and performs at concerts and recitals, playing Irish, Paraguayan, and concert harps, alongside piano and vocals. Her career highlights include performing at the Royal Festival Hall, Westminster Hall in London, the National Concert Hall in Dublin, and some of Ireland’s most iconic castles.

Alida is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, playing Irish, Paraguayan, and concert harps, as well as piano, violin, and cello. She first toured with Edel at just six years old, and since then, her musicality and artistry have continued to flourish. Together, their chemistry as performers is as natural as it is captivating.

Their combined talent brings a rich, layered sound that is both tender and powerful, creating a musical backdrop filled with emotion, nuance, and artistry. Whether you envision modern melodies, classical favourites, or Celtic traditionals, Harp Duets will tailor their performance to suit your vision.

For couples searching for romantic harp music with exceptional musicianship and a heartfelt touch, Harp Duets is a beautiful choice that will elevate your wedding day with charm, grace, and unforgettable elegance.

How captivating was this wedding in @castleleslie that we performed at? It was so special to perform on Halloween evening for this beautiful couple! We also got to meet the amazing @graberrypaints ✨️ If you're looking to add that wow factor for your guests, she provides that, and such beautiful memories of the day!
