Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lambe! 👰‍♀️💍🤵

A fairytale castle setting for marriage at Markree Castle, Co Sligo 🏰

Such a beautiful wedding ceremony at Markree Castle, with two people who couldn’t stop smiling at each other! ✨💜

A last-minute move indoors due to rain, brought us to Markree Castle’s stunning chapel, with the gorgeous floral arch making the journey from its original location in the woods to join us. A friend of the bride and groom created the flowers and arch, making them an extra special part of the day 💐

Sarah & Danny’s ceremony, for some 200 of their friends and family, travelling from France, Scotland and England. We included two readings and a handfasting with a cord made from different ribbons representing various elements, passions and wishes. The bride’s two and four year old nephews were the cutest ring bearers 💍 We were fortunate to have musical accompaniment from the Harp Duet, who were a pleasure to chat to 🎶

Sarah and Danny, it was so lovely working with you and sharing all that happiness, and how much everyone wanted the best for you. Seeing those smiles and giggles throughout the ceremony was a joy. Thank you for keeping in touch 🤍

A parcel in the post, a beautiful handwritten letter, a #carepack ! Thank you so much to Edel & Alida Loftus, our great pals @harpduets for your thoughtfulness! The last few gigs we’ve done you’ve noticed the hip-hop-along stride in my step 🤦‍♀️ and were so kind to send me this ‘gem of a gel’ as Edel said it was. Ah, you’re a pair of peaches xxx
Love and thanks from

A celebration shaped by its surroundings.

Over two spectacular evenings, a marquee gala dinner unfolded as an enchanted garden brought to life within the castle grounds.

From arrival to late evening, guests moved through a beautifully layered environment where florals, lighting and performance created a seamless sense of atmosphere from beginning to end.

Immersive, evolving and quietly magical.

✨️ Harp Duets 🎶

Harp Duets is a truly unique and enchanting musical ensemble featuring the exceptional talents of mother and daughter duo Edel and Alida. Both are celebrated musicians with an impressive command of classical, jazz, modern, and traditional Irish music, creating performances filled with elegance, romance, and unmistakable magic.

For couples seeking something sophisticated, atmospheric, and deeply memorable for their wedding ceremony or drinks reception, Harp Duets offers a beautifully refined experience. Their seamless blend of harps and complementary instruments brings a soft, timeless beauty to any setting, making your celebration feel truly extraordinary.

Edel is an internationally acclaimed musician who has collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists. She presents, produces, and performs at concerts and recitals, playing Irish, Paraguayan, and concert harps, alongside piano and vocals. Her career highlights include performing at the Royal Festival Hall, Westminster Hall in London, the National Concert Hall in Dublin, and some of Ireland’s most iconic castles.

Alida is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, playing Irish, Paraguayan, and concert harps, as well as piano, violin, and cello. She first toured with Edel at just six years old, and since then, her musicality and artistry have continued to flourish. Together, their chemistry as performers is as natural as it is captivating.

Their combined talent brings a rich, layered sound that is both tender and powerful, creating a musical backdrop filled with emotion, nuance, and artistry. Whether you envision modern melodies, classical favourites, or Celtic traditionals, Harp Duets will tailor their performance to suit your vision.

For couples searching for romantic harp music with exceptional musicianship and a heartfelt touch, Harp Duets is a beautiful choice that will elevate your wedding day with charm, grace, and unforgettable elegance.
