Found this little gem in my camera roll! The footwork on 7 pedals which so often audiences don’t see or understand. Each pedal is for one note of the scale and has three positions for flat, natural and sharp. You can definitely get yourself in a pickle if you move the wrong pedal, as it’s almost impossible to figure out which one you moved wrongly and then correct! Slow careful foot practice is essential- building the pedals into the rhythm so they are programmed in! #harp #harpist #pedals #footwork #orchestral #challenge #difficult #musicalinstruments by @harpnyc

As we turn the corner into spring I’m still pinching myself that I was part of this show for the past two holiday seasons. NYC is where dreams are made! taken in Radio City Music Hall by @harpnyc

Yesterday SparkHarp offered ‘Try the Harp’ sessions at The Scotland Festival and Highland Games! The response was truly one of the most heartwarming I’ve ever experienced! The little harps were in the arms of young and old for most of the day! Children that had been running around took a break and sat for extended time enjoying the sensory experience that this instrument offers. Adults decided to consider a new hobby. Musicians and music teachers took pride in picking out songs by ear and learning about the technique. Others just enjoyed t try big something completely new or touching an instrument that is normally so expensive and unobtainable! I felt so proud that through SparkHarp I was able to create these moments of possibility…. It may just be a brief calming experience or it may lead to a pathway - both are valuable! #harp #sparkharp #ct #try #community taken in Brooklyn, Ct by @harpnyc

My acting and TV work began when playing with Andrea Bocelli about 30 years ago! I had to smile sweetly on live TV whilst miming and playing a prop harp which sounded like rubber bands! I continued by working as a newscaster- whilst improvising on the harp, operating the prompter and dressed as an angel! Thankfully there are no videos of that! I was told to ‘shut up’ by Graham Norton during a comedy skit on his TV show. Most recently I did a still photo commercial for the NY Lottery for their new campaign! I still have to find the billboard in NYC! Harpists are appearing everywhere: Bridgerton and Friends and Neighbors to name just two! If you’re looking to cast a harpist for a film, shoot or theater please reach out. I’m easy to work with, experienced and have a creative and sparky personality! #casting #actress #castingdirector #production #harpist by @harpnyc

Ethereal, soft, and understated.

Violin + harp creates a soundscape. For ceremonies, it turns walking down the aisle into something slow, intentional, and cinematic. For cocktail hour, it creates an atmosphere that feels refined but effortless — guests talking a little softer, lingering a little longer, noticing the details.

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” works so naturally in this setting.

Thank you to the Greenwich Botanical Center for having me perform for their Patron Party at this spectacular and special property! The elegance and versatility of the harp being able to be played indoors or outdoors, and acoustic or amplified, makes it the ideal choice for a summer soirée! My gown suited the theme perfectly with hand painted details! @greenwichbotanicalcenter #greenwichrealestate #harp #soirée #summer #ct taken in Greenwich, Connecticut by @harpnyc
