POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I didn’t just win an award… I won it for doing what I believe education should be. 🎭✨

Hearing the judges describe my work as innovative, inspiring and transformational honestly stopped me in my tracks.

They recognised the impact of using drama to enrich the lives of SEND learners — not as a provision, not as an add-on — but as a powerful, creative tool for true inclusion.

Inclusion isn’t something I “provide.”
It’s something I build with my students.

To know this approach has had a transformational impact on many means more than the trophy ever could.

If you believe inclusion should sit at the heart of creativity, like this post and let’s keep raising the standard together.

What an adventure… so far. When I started off my writing I thought it would only be for one project. From there it has grown on to so much more, I’ve worked and met so many amazing people along the way. Hopefully this is just the start. Some sneaky peeks in there!

Thanks for everyone’s support along the way. by @harrington_projects

What my class think of me?

I saw this reel template the other day so thought I’d start our Monday morning time by discussing different people and what they would potentially put on this reel. This is what my students came up for me…

Lesson=drama = my main lesson
Colour = black = what I wear a lot
Animal = panther =supposedly cool and calm but with a growl
Drink=coffee vanilla latte=they know how to make it
Superhero =50/50 between Batman and superman
Season=summer=because I wear shorts alot!
Mindset = creative = as I have no logic!

Not to bad and only a few rude comments on the whole a fun excercise and you get to know a little bit more about me!

From West End dreams to classroom reality! 🎭✨

And just like that, it’s back to school today after a week of adventure, emotions, incredible people and a dream coming true!

Same old me, just returning with a little more diva energy than when I left! 💁‍♂️😂

Right then, let’s see what this next chapter brings! ❤️

Rule One: Try.
Rule Two: Have Fun. ❤️

Three days of rehearsals. One day in the theatre. Two incredible shows. One dream brought to life.

Yesterday, we did exactly what Matt tells Tony to do. We tried, we had fun, and together we created something beyond anything I could have imagined.

To every single person who helped bring Big Man Little Man to the stage, thank you. What a team. What a day. What a dream. ❤️

4 DAYS. ONE DREAM. ❤️

Three days of rehearsals. One day of tech and shows. And just look what we created. 🥹

Yesterday, Big Man Little Man came to life on the stage of The Other Palace, and what an incredible journey it has been.

From a blank page to a stage. From an idea to something real. Four days of hard work, passion, laughter, tears and a team who gave everything.

And yesterday, we finally got to share it with you.

To everyone who came, supported us and believed in this story, THANK YOU. ❤️

Because boys break too.

And this is only the beginning. ✨

Today. ❤️

After all the writing.
All the rewriting.
The workshops.
The conversations.
The casting.
The rehearsals.
And all the people who have helped get us here.

Today, BIG MAN. LITTLE MAN takes to the stage at The Other Palace.

A story that started with one young person asking why people like him weren’t seen on stage is about to meet its audience.

Twice.

I’m not entirely sure I’ve got the words for what that feels like yet.

So for now…

Let’s do this.

📍 The Other Palace
⏰ 4pm & 8pm
🎟️ 8pm SOLD OUT
🎟️ 4pm tickets available

Book now. Be there.

Somewhere between reality and a dream… ❤️🎭

And just like that, our final rehearsals are done.

It all started with one student asking me a simple question: “Why am I not seen on stage?”

That one question sparked an idea, an idea that became a story, and a story that tomorrow will finally be shared with an audience.

Five years ago, I sat in a theatre dreaming that one day people might watch something I’d written. And now, here we are.

We’ve worked so bloody hard to get to this moment. The hours, the challenges, the incredible people who’ve believed in this little dream and helped bring it to life. I honestly couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created.

Right now, I’m somewhere between reality and a dream. Nervous, excited, emotional and still trying to take it all in.

Tomorrow, Big Man Little Man takes to the stage at The Other Palace. And I cannot wait for you to see what we’ve created. ❤️

🎟️ Our 8pm show is SOLD OUT, but there are still tickets available for our 4pm performance.

Book now. Be there.

Because boys break too. ❤️

☕️ Living on coffee and a dream. 🎭

A little bit of caffeine, a lot of nerves and five years of dreaming about this moment.

The tiredness is real, the excitement is ridiculous and somehow this is all actually happening.

One more sleep. Big Man Little Man, here we come. ❤️

Because boys break too.
