Reposting this here because the world needs to know why it will always be a bit darker from this day on. I am in absolute shock right now having woken up to the worst news. The world really lost a good one. Alex Repetski passed away on Aug 24.2026. Alex was as real as they came. A fantastic light in this world that will never be as bright as it was with him around. I still haven’t processed this as I just talked to him the other day in one of our random weekly text or calls. I don’t have any other details but I’m sending all the love in the world to his beautiful wife and their amazing children especially his daughter Gwennie who he dedicated his life to making hers better. I love you brother. I can only pray the pain that’s been plaguing you these last few years is finally gone. Love you brother. by @harv666

About last night! It was incredible to see @flavorflavofficial and @mrchuckd sharing the stage again. You could see @publicenemy were having as much fun performing as us the fans were having watching. And Flave, your closing speech was genuinely inspiring to all. Thank you both for years of listening pleasure. by @harv666

Read this before you scroll.
I am a Jew.
And I am exhausted.
For over two years, Jews around the world have been attacked, threatened, and murdered — and almost every time, the response isn’t outrage. It’s silence. Or worse, deflection.
Yesterday, on the first night of Hanukkah, Jews were targeted again.
Not Muslims. Jews.
Yet somehow the conversation immediately shifted to tone-policing and cries of ā€œIslamophobia.ā€
Pointing out who commits violence is not hatred — it’s accountability.
Calling out ideology tied to repeated atrocities is not racism.
Do not tell Jews how to grieve while Jews are under attack.
Do not lecture us about tone while our people are being hunted.
I’ll say this clearly:
There are Muslims who reject violence and extremism — and I wish them no harm.
But silence from ā€œmoderatesā€ only protects extremists.
And every time the focus shifts away from murdered Jews, we get the message loud and clear.
There are only 15 million Jews in the world.
We cannot fight this alone.
And so I ask you all — during Hanukkah, the festival of light — don’t let silence be the darkness.
For the next 8 nights, share the image below.
No debate. No qualifiers. Just solidarity.
Show the Jews in your life — and the world — that you care.
That you believe in what’s right.
That you have our backs.
Show up.
Stand with us.
Say it clearly.
Signed,
A Jew. by @harv666

D-Sisive | No More Words (OG Audio | 2011)

It's taken me 15 years to mash these. Not out of laziness. Out of fear + heartbreak.

The story behind this video deserves its own chapter in my bio. I'll give you a snippet.

I first heard the Weezer sample in a Mr. Sub. There was no Shazam, so I googled the lyrics, bought the CD, then ran to Rob's ( Muneshine | @inthebakkery ). He made the beat while I wrote the song. It was magic! This was one of the first songs written for Jonestown 2. Rob and I knew we had a monster on our hands.

I submitted the song for a MuchFact grant. Those who don't know, MuchFact (or VideoFact then?) was an organization that gave directors|artists money to produce music videos. Fact: I was approved the first time I ever submitted for Lost Sight in 97. Then...I was VideoFact poison for years! Was I bitter? 🤐

Applying for No More Words felt pointless, but director @harv666 had an undeniably brilliant idea - bring the JumpMan logo to life! So we went for it!

A miracle was made, and I got around 25 Gs. Well, I didn't get it. Production did. I got a free pair of J3s, and an amazing video!

Talks started gwanning about the video's potential. The shit was insanity, and we truly believed this was gonna be the one to FINALLY catapult me out of the underground and into the mainstream. I started to believe it. I mean, an early peak of the vid gave everyone goosebumps on their wet wangs. The problem was the sample! If this shit truly pops, like we believed it would, Weezer and their lawyers will be on my keester quicker than I could queef. We weren't even thinking about Nike! šŸ˜‚

We got scared, but had to deliver the video! Someone suggested we remake the sample. "I can make this sound exact," said someone who shall remain nameless. But the sample was the best part!! We hit the studio, and...well...they didn't make it sound exact. In fact, it was total dog aids. I was beyond bummed.

The video got play, but was pulled out of fear of Nike. I remained underground, and the vid remained unseen.

Here's how my baby was meant to be.
Enjoy!

I can’t even begin to explain what an honor it was to be invited by Patrick Nichols @bougieblackguy to be part of this photographic achievement, celebrating the founding fathers of Hip-Hop culture and community in Canada.

To be featured alongside so many of my childhood heroes—who would go on to become much more than that, evolving into my friends and family over the last 35+ years—is truly special.

One Fine Day in Toronto captures the people responsible for writing, producing, creating, and visualizing the incredible music, fashion, photography, and video that have come out of this country. It’s a legacy of love for all, and quite a feat for Patrick to bring everyone together—and actually get them to stand still long enough to take a photo or two.

Much love to everyone involved. If you want to see this piece of history in person, go check out The Culture exhibit at the AGO. And don’t forget to exit through the gift shop for some limited-edition @tooblackguys fashion.

Unfortunately, the one I’m wearing is vintage—I ran to the store north of Bloor 30+ years ago when this dropped, to hang with Adrian and @big_c1 people that I would build lifelong friendships with that I cherish so much. This sweater will never leave me, just wish I still had my green jeans to go with it. What many don’t know is that my hip-hop life didn’t start with music videos. I was a rapper as a teen, I recorded tracks at Ron Nelson Studios with Ron and Mitch Winthrop and my crew @andrewadolphus @dmrrnrmt @ramysell and @byadammatthews That was back when Ivan Berrys @smallaxeberry Beat Factory studio was beside it in the basement. That’s where I’d meet Thrust, King Lou, Ivan, HDV etc. I even toured high schools in Toronto with a group of artists performing. Humble beginnings in a community I have embraced for the majority of my life and career. Thank you Canadian hip-hop. Much love. by @harv666
