A beautiful day at @pectoronto for the @pcaucr annual Concours yesterday! There was fantastic representation from several generations of Porsche and a true family spirit as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Upper Canada Region. There were over 80 trophies up for grabs with a fully judged concours as well as a show & shine, great prizes, draws and goodie bags with special event mementos. Overall it was truly a fun day spent with great people and cars. A big thank you to the PECTO team for the special parking spot as well as everyone who extended their well wishes for my Pesto GT3 fundraiser and accepted a stickered up GT3 on display. Km: 156,021

D-Sisive | No More Words (OG Audio | 2011) It's taken me 15 years to mash these. Not out of laziness. Out of fear + heartbreak. The story behind this video deserves its own chapter in my bio. I'll give you a snippet. I first heard the Weezer sample in a Mr. Sub. There was no Shazam, so I googled the lyrics, bought the CD, then ran to Rob's ( Muneshine | @inthebakkery ). He made the beat while I wrote the song. It was magic! This was one of the first songs written for Jonestown 2. Rob and I knew we had a monster on our hands. I submitted the song for a MuchFact grant. Those who don't know, MuchFact (or VideoFact then?) was an organization that gave directors|artists money to produce music videos. Fact: I was approved the first time I ever submitted for Lost Sight in 97. Then...I was VideoFact poison for years! Was I bitter? 🤐 Applying for No More Words felt pointless, but director @harv666 had an undeniably brilliant idea - bring the JumpMan logo to life! So we went for it! A miracle was made, and I got around 25 Gs. Well, I didn't get it. Production did. I got a free pair of J3s, and an amazing video! Talks started gwanning about the video's potential. The shit was insanity, and we truly believed this was gonna be the one to FINALLY catapult me out of the underground and into the mainstream. I started to believe it. I mean, an early peak of the vid gave everyone goosebumps on their wet wangs. The problem was the sample! If this shit truly pops, like we believed it would, Weezer and their lawyers will be on my keester quicker than I could queef. We weren't even thinking about Nike! 😂 We got scared, but had to deliver the video! Someone suggested we remake the sample. "I can make this sound exact," said someone who shall remain nameless. But the sample was the best part!! We hit the studio, and...well...they didn't make it sound exact. In fact, it was total dog aids. I was beyond bummed. The video got play, but was pulled out of fear of Nike. I remained underground, and the vid remained unseen. Here's how my baby was meant to be. Enjoy! ❤️

The Porsche community lost a giant today. Brent Hunter was more than a brilliant engine builder and restorer; he was a custodian of history, a true craftsman whose wealth of knowledge is irreplaceable. Brent was a friend, a mentor, and a big brother to so many of us. Without him, I’d never have found myself immersed in the world of Porsche restoration and customization. He showed me the ropes, shared endless stories, and ignited the passion that led to Urban Outlaw. He will be missed deeply by his wife, Patricia, and his two children. His memory will forever be a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing him, learning from him, and calling him a friend.
