I am a few days late, but that's fine. As you can see, I dressed up as a vampire. I will use any chance I get to dress as a vampire and especially to wear my beloved corset! My Halloween started at my friends house where I, and a group of friends, did the classic 'Vortrinken' (pre-drinking), ate food, and took pictures. Afterwards we went to the club. It was actually my first time spending Halloween at the club and not at a friends party, but it was fun! I already miss Halloween and am very excited for next year!!! ๐Ÿฆ‡ soft goth, dark and moody, Halloween costume, vampire, dracula by @hauntedhistories

I LOVE watching films! It is one of my biggest passions! More often than not, I watch multiple ones a day. Is there anything better than spending the whole day at home just watching films?! Admittedly, I have not watched as many in October yet. It is mostly the fault of Bookstagram (/reading books), 'How I met your mother', and 'Mindhunter'. This is a problem, actually, because my goal for 2025 is to watch 365 films. I have already reached my reading goal, all that's left to do is reach my film goal!! Do you have a letterboxd? Mine is @ l3azoe. Fight club meets mean girls, meets frankenstein, meets the secret history. I enjoyed how the novel plays with genres: satire, horror and surrealism. Bunny is weird, itโ€™s funny, itโ€™s grotesque and unsettling in the best possible way. It is about creativity and loneliness dressed up in lace and blood. Bunny could have been a 5 star read if the ending had satisfied. Unfortunately, it did not. Apart from that, I recommend the book to everyone who enjoys weird girl literature! italy photo dump + reading update How far along are you with your reading goal for this year? In my first week on holiday I have read five books: - the september house, carissa orlando - gallant, v.e. schwab - the wife before, shanora williams - we have always lived in the castle, shirley jackson - circe, madeline miller Therefore, I have already read 20 books of my goal of 25 books for this year. It is not the most challenging goal, but it is a doable amount of books to read and I will be less likely to disappoint myself. It is so bizarre that I read so much more when on holiday, I'll try to keep the pace when I have returned home. taken in Italy by @hauntedhistories

swipe to see my most recent book purchases ๐Ÿซ€what were your last book purchases? - besides buying two beautiful floor length black dresses yesterday I also bought two new books. I believe that none of us can go shopping without visiting the bookshop, right? the two choosen books were 'the collected works of edgar allen poe' and 'dead poets society'. (I love the film so much and reading the book can't hurt.) - the third most recent purchase is the german version of the collected works of franz kafka. I saw it on tiktok and couldn't resist especially because it was only ten euros!! I am so excited to read his and poe's works soon! by @hauntedhistories
