Two long tables beat twelve small ones.

We’ve hosted enough dinners to know that seating sets the tone. Spread guests across small tables and conversation stays in small circles. Seat them along a long table and the room opens up. Everyone can see everyone, passed dishes give people a reason to reach across, and the rhythm of the courses keeps the whole evening flowing.

On Sunday, November 1st, we’re transforming Kula Urban Farm for a traditional celebration of Día de los Muertos.

Drawing on Chef Pablo’s roots, it’s an evening of feasting, music, and remembrance, honoring the lives of loved ones who’ve passed on.

Candlelight, flowers, an ofrenda, and five courses at one long table, inspired by his hometown of Puebla and paired with thoughtfully crafted cocktails. The menu stays a secret until you arrive.

That’s a wrap on season 2!

None of this happens without the hands that build it.

To our staff — who showed up early, stayed late, and poured everything into every service: thank you. We couldn’t have done this without you.

To our partners, Matt and Scott at @barnegatoyster — for the oysters, the bay, and a collaboration that’s the whole reason this place exists at all.

And to every guest who pulled up a chair this summer — especially our Mother Shucker Club members, who believed in us before the season even started and showed up for it, week after week. We’re so grateful for your trust and support.

🦪 Today, Wed 9/2 — CLOSED (no shuck your own)
🦪 Thu 9/3 — 12–8pm
🦪 Fri 9/4 — 12–3pm (closed at night for a private event)
🦪 Sat 9/5 — 12–8pm
🦪 Sun 9/6 — 12–8pm
🦪 Mon 9/7 — 12–8pm, ($1 oysters & our last à la carte service of the season)

However you spend it — a quick lunch, a last Saturday night, one more Monday oyster — come sit at our table one more time this year.
